I have been reading the forums and looks like a lot of folks are experiencing the same issue as I am. I purchased the license for EC Pro 3.0 and WooTickets. There seems to be some major version conflict though. I have updated WordPress to latest , EC Pro 3.0.1 to latest, but latest WooCommerce causes major redirection errors. WooTickets is also the latest version. I am unable to see those add to cart options and these issues are faced by many as I can see in there forums and those posting on the forum claim to be able to support individual cases due unique setup with each site. Are there any support options to set standard behavior right of the plugins. Why doesn’t it show the add to cart options on tickets? 2.0.12 was tested and causes major issues, whole site kind of breaks. I expect that there may be some patched up version which will work with their latest plugins. Apparently it may work with default WordPress theme but I need it work with MADD theme (custom).
I want to avoid customizing or debugging WooCommerce because that would mean I am locked at this version and cant do future updates. I am looking at refining theme functions to work with this latest WooCommerce but no luck so far. I checked with the theme developer for any updates for latest WooCommerce compatibility, but no luck there either. We are using all latest updates. Any of the following either a theme update to support latest WooCommerce or updated WooCommerce to support my custom MADD theme …any would do. I am looking to you for feedback and guidance on the issue. PLEASE HELP, excited about the Events Bar, recurring events, and other features for my site!

We definitely would like to help here but I’m not completely clear as to the problem. Can you break it down and perhaps give me point-by-point steps that will let me see the issue on your site?

Also, is it possible that this stems from other customization work, or a conflict with your theme/another plugin (besides our plugins and WooCommerce)? In other words, can you see if the problem persists even when you are only running Modern Tribe plugins, WooCommerce and a default theme such as Twenty Twelve?

    Thanks!

Thanks Barry for the reply. To simplify I need to make my custom MADD theme compatible with the new version of WooCommerce so I would need a theme update to support latest WooCommerce. Do you have any compatibility tools or resources. I am not using a WP Default theme and the site is broken because of compatibility with WooCommerce. Another avenue is a WooCommerce update to support custom themes in conjunction with EC Pro 3.0 version.

So it sounds to me as if the stumbling block here is WooCommerce itself, is that correct – and if so have you tried asking for help from WooThemes (since that is their product)?

Hey Barry, thanks for the reply. Yes, it all starts with WooCommerce compatibility with EC Pro 3.0. When I activate the WooCommerce plugin the site is broken because of compatibility issues with my custom MAD theme. With that being said, I can’t install the latest version of WooTickets without the WooCommerce being activated obviously. I will reach out to WooThemes to see if they can assist and let you know the outcome just in case anyone else has this same issue in the future.

OK – I mean definitely if you find you can’t use WooCommerce with your custom theme (regardless of whether any of our plugins are installed and activated) then that’s something to solve in the first instance, probably by working with WooThemes support 🙂
