MemberOK – I see that now and it seems only to affect the Community Events pages (the list and the submission form).
You noted when you opened the thread that you tried switching to a default, unmodified theme and simultaneously turning off all non-Modern Tribe plugins. Did that resolve this or were you able to pin down another plugin or your theme as causing the conflict (if for instance on reactivating one of them the problem returned)?
Barry
MemberI’m sorry if we let you down and we absolutely do want to deliver a functional product and also offer timely help and assistance.
I wasn’t absolutely clear about the problems you were facing based on your descriptions and that has added to the delay. Let’s recap where we are and look at your issues as they stand:
Embedding events/tickets on other pages: again, it sounds like you are happy with the add_to_cart shortcode provided by WooCommerce and if you wish to style the output of this shortcode further you should approach WooThemes’ own support team.
Big white box: this looks like a fairly straightforward CSS issue and stems from a conflict with your theme’s style rules. Can you try adding the following rule to the bottom of your theme’s stylesheet and see if it helps at all?
Again I do appreciate you are frustrated – and you are welcome to share the content of this thread with your client (non-logged in users can also view it) if that helps – all I can really say is that I have tried to take this one step at a time (and have suggested breaking it up into separate threads or discussions for better clarity and also to provide you with better response times).
If you need further help please do let me know specifically what you want to work on and I’ll do what I can.

MemberI note you tried deactivating all other plugins (except hopefully for The Events Calendar, WooTickets and WooCommerce) – but can you try this and at the same time switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve?
It’s possible there is a conflict – perhaps a Javascript issue – with the theme.
And apologies for the delay in responding, for some reason this became marked as a sticky post and I skipped it in my earlier passes of the forum, thinking it was one of our own threads that we created for information-sharing purposes.

Member@ddfaktde: regarding the initial problem – where the text You’ll receive your tickets in another email appears even for non-ticket products – we’re treating this as a bug (as you’d probably expect) and hope to deliver a fix in one of our forthcoming maintenance releases.
Barry
MemberNo problem, so if you’re all sorted regarding the submit button customization, I shall close this thread – definitely feel free to create new threads as needed, though 🙂

MemberI don’t see that community submission form at http://southernarizonaguide.com/events/community/add/ at all … is Community Events installed/is that the correct URL (it looks right…)?
Sorry you are having difficulties with Housekeeping – that isn’t actually part of the official Modern Tribe stable so if you have any issues simply deactivate it/delete it and feel free to post a question over at http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar-housekeeper – thanks!
Barry
Member@bmitchellini: one of our developers (Jessica) was looking at your site to identify a live example since she could not otherwise replicate this. Can you share a URL that will let her investigate? Definitely feel free to share the link privately if you prefer.

MemberBy SOL you mean sadly out of luck? 😉
It should actually be possible – if you navigate to Events > Settings > Community and look at the options in the Members section you should see a checkbox for Edit their submissions which you can then enable (remember to save your changes!).
It was my memory (which turned out to be incorrect) that the ability to edit them wouldn’t be available before the event is approved (published), but actually it looks as though that isn’t the case – so if you enable the above setting you and your users should be good to go.
Does that help?

MemberDefinitely the first time I’ve seen the issue with the links. There seems to be some kind of CSS-level conflict going on with your Headway theme. Can you try adding the following line either to the bottom of your theme stylesheet, or else in your tribe-events.css override (see our Themer’s Guide for details on setting that up) or anywhere else recommended by your theme vendor for custom CSS rules:
.tribe-events-list-separator-month { display: inline-block; width: 100%; }Does that help?
Barry
MemberHi Daniella, I think the idea was to disable list view rather than month view. Both still seem to be available, though. Just to confirm, you should:
* Visit Events > Settings > Display
* Scroll down to the section marked Enable event views
* Uncheck Month view
* Save your changes!Does that help at all?
Barry
MemberDo feel free to send the theme across – it would be ideal if you could make it accessible in .zip format, either via Dropbox or a similar service (or just by uploading it to your WP site) and sharing the link as a private reply and although I can’t offer any guarantees I’ll certainly take a quick look.
Regarding Permalink Editor, I’m not going to be able to look into that one. It sounds like a more complex and time consuming issue to resolve and we just can’t spare the resources to do that, but I would encourage you to contact the authors of that plugin (if you haven’t already done so) and see if they can offer up any help.
Barry
MemberHi Debbie: thanks for sharing. Strangely enough if I activate your theme I don’t see this problem.
Is it possible that something else is in turn conflicting with your theme? For instance, if you keep our plugins activated and also your Gameday theme activated – but disable all other plugins – do you still see this problem?
If you do then are there any other theme related settings I should be aware of / if you play with the theme settings yourself are you able to figure out what the trigger is?

MemberOK. So if I install and activate that plugin I don’t actually see this problem … I’m not sure if it exists only within the WooCommerce product editor itself or there is some other facet I’m unaware of – but unfortunately we don’t really have bandwidth to spend more time on this one.
Hopefully you can get a solution from the WooThemes team or else directly from the author – but I’m afraid on this occasion we will need to bow out.

MemberHi Karen,
Can you provide a little more detail about where you are seeing this error? I did visit your site and couldn’t see it either on the main events page or the community submission page – nor can I see this locally with WP_DEBUG mode turned on.
It’s quite possible I’m missing something but I would need a little more information to take this forward 🙂
Thanks!
Barry
MemberLast but not least, bear in mind that much has changed with the release of 3.0 and you should review the updated Themer’s Guide for an overview of this.
Also, couldn’t find gridview.php?
So many existing forum topics will discuss solutions relating to the old structure; there is for instance no longer a gridview.php template.
