ParticipantHi,
How can I change the “View All Events” in the widget to link to the day view and not the month view (which looks terrible)? http://kidoinfo.com/ri/events/month/July 18, 2013 at 3:50 pm #55987Leah
MemberHi Daniella,
Thanks for getting in touch. Since “View All Events” is by definition all the upcoming events on the calendar, I don’t think you could really like it to day view. However, you can force it to link to List View.
Since you don’t like how your month view looks, you can disable it altogether under Events –> Settings. If the month view is disabled, the View All Events link in the widget will take the user to List View.
Hopefully the above will solve the immediate problem. However, you might also want to look into integrating your theme with The Events Calendar so that the Month View looks better. We might be able to help you out a little with that, although we are extremely busy in the forums right now so customizing support is a little more limited. But definitely keep it in mind as an option if you’d like to have the Month View.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help.
Best,

MemberHi Daniella, I think the idea was to disable list view rather than month view. Both still seem to be available, though. Just to confirm, you should:
* Visit Events > Settings > Display
* Scroll down to the section marked Enable event views
* Uncheck Month view
* Save your changes!Does that help at all?

ParticipantThat didn’t work, so per another thread I was able to remove the sidebar on the month view. However, now the sidebar is gone for the other views where I wanted the sidebar. This is the css I added:
.events-archive #contentright, span.country-name { display:none;}.events-archive #contentleft { width:99%; }
.events-archive #page { background:none; }
Any ideas to only remove the sidebar for the month and leave the sidebar for the other views? Thank you!July 25, 2013 at 9:13 am #57114Barry
MemberHi Daniella,
There might have been a slight misunderstanding in that I was only covering how to disable month view (which you said you had tried, but remains enabled).
The sidebar issue is a quite different kettle of fish however so I’d ask that you create a new thread for that to avoid confusion (or, take a look at our Themer’s Guide which covers the basics of customizing these things – which may not realistically be possible using CSS alone).
