Thank you, jorgeocampo – it definitely sounds like a useful feature and we’ll review and assess it in due course.

Thanks again and have a great Christmas!

No problem at all: happy that everything is in order 🙂

I’ll go ahead and close this thread, of course if there is anything else at all please do feel free to create new threads as needed.

    Thanks!

    Hi seanpaul13,

Our WooCommerce Tickets new user primer will give you a pretty good flavour for working with that add-on.

I’m not sure if it would completely meet your goals – it really depends on the selling model you are using and other business requirements: while you can certainly create different tickets with different names at different price points for the same event (standard, concession, premium, etc) at this time what you can’t do and need to be aware of is pooling the inventory.

In other words, at least for the time being, you would need to allocate a stock of 20 for concession tickets and 80 for standard tickets – you cannot make both ticket types pull from a common pool of 100 tickets.

I hope that makes sense, but let me know if you need clarification.

    Hi bekkmill,

Apologies for any confusion stemming from that earlier forum post you referenced. As things have turned out, after further investigation, this actually seems to be a feature of/bug within WordPress in relation to custom post types.

The bug report was if I recall correctly marked as wontfix (indicating the core team won’t be taking it any further) and so realistically that means it will have to be worked around on a site-by-site or theme-by-theme basis.

    Hi joinfof,

You’d probably want to start by looking at our Themer’s Guide – what you’d be interested in here of course are the templates relating to photo view.

In this case you would probably be particularly interested in pro/photo/single-event.php and the call to tribe_event_featured_image() which takes place close to the start of that particular template. You could build your own conditional statement to control when it is used, and might for instance build on the following functions to figure out if an events category is being used and, if so, which one:

    Hope that helps!

Just to confirm, have you activated The Events Calendar (if not can you try doing so first of all)?

Right now I’m afraid there’s no particularly easy way to do this: but it would certainly make a great feature request if you wish to post one (or indeed add your support to any existing requests along these lines):

    tribe.uservoice.com

    Thanks!

Hi James, I’m going to move this across to the Facebook Events forum which is the best place to ask Facebook Events-related questions. Someone will get back to you shortly (though do note we probably won’t be operating quite at full capacity over the festive period).

    Thanks!

    Hi Andy,

Sorry to hear that. Just to confirm, is missing even within the network admin pages (and the plugin management screen in particular) or just individual ‘subsite’ admin pages?

    Thanks!

    Hi Kevin,

I can certainly see what you mean and we can look into some changes there.

It would be helpful to us to know what actual issues this is causing for you – I would have thought tools that can parse and consume hAtom content would simply skip those items – are you finding something other than this/can you give a real life example (this is simply to help me better frame a report for this issue)?

    Thanks!

Thank you for digging in to this Andreas and out apologies for any inconvenience. We’ll certainly look into this.

    Hi Kevin,

Sorry for any inconvenience on that front. We’ll certainly log this for further consideration.

Right now you could try overriding the pro/week/single-event-allday.php template and remove the .hentry and .vevent classes from the placeholder div – week view should continue to operate normally.

If you haven’t already done so, please do check out our Themer’s Guide in order to make any changes safely.

    Hope that helps!

OK. Currently, the credentials you provided don’t seem to work and so I can’t view this for myself.

I wonder also, since the site seems not to be publicly accessible, if you could provide working credentials but also keep a default, unmodified theme like Twenty Twelve in place and all other plugins deactivated (except for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO) so I can see what’s happening under those conditions?

So that would entail adding your code to the default-template.php template.

However, since this template is used for both single events and the main events view, you’d need to tweak your code slightly and add something like the tribe_is_list_view() conditional (if as in your case you are using upcoming events as the default events view) or else the reverse – and use a WordPress conditional like is_singular() to detect when it is a single type page (such as a single event).

    Hope that helps!

Excellent, we’re very happy to hear that – and thank you for the kind words.

If you’d like to do so, please do post a review over on our wordpress.org homepage as we’d love to share your experience with other users.

As it sound like we’ve resolved this (and thanks so much for your patience while we worked through it) I will go ahead and close this thread.
