tribe-event-placeholder should not have microformats applied to it

The plugin populates the calendar grid with empty placeholders with a class of “tribe-event-placeholder”. In addition, these have the microformat classes of “hentry vevent”, yet the content of these divs is empty.

When you run these pages through Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool, it throws off all kinds of tagging errors. Here is a sample from your demo site:

Empty divs should obviously not have microformat/microdata tags like this for SEO purposes. Is there an easy way to fix this?

Hi Kevin,

Sorry for any inconvenience on that front. We’ll certainly log this for further consideration.

Right now you could try overriding the pro/week/single-event-allday.php template and remove the .hentry and .vevent classes from the placeholder div – week view should continue to operate normally.
