HI I currenty sell ticket to my show at http://www.intriguetheater.com using eventesspresso – which has been very challenging to work with for the last year – It sounds like woo commerce is much more stable.

Is there a drop down menu for customers so that they can have a choice with eith General Seating for $10 for Premium Seats for $10?

How do I do that – is there a tutorial for running ticketed events?

    Hi seanpaul13,

Our WooCommerce Tickets new user primer will give you a pretty good flavour for working with that add-on.

I’m not sure if it would completely meet your goals – it really depends on the selling model you are using and other business requirements: while you can certainly create different tickets with different names at different price points for the same event (standard, concession, premium, etc) at this time what you can’t do and need to be aware of is pooling the inventory.

In other words, at least for the time being, you would need to allocate a stock of 20 for concession tickets and 80 for standard tickets – you cannot make both ticket types pull from a common pool of 100 tickets.

I hope that makes sense, but let me know if you need clarification.

It’s been a while and I don’t think there’s too much more we can offer up here – so I’ll go ahead and close this thread. Thanks!
