MemberI totally understand – and it is definitely something we are interested in – so I’d encourage you to show your support on our UserVoice page as this helps us to prioritize new features etc.
Beyond that there isn’t really much we can offer right at this point in time and so I’ll mark this thread as closed.
Thanks again – and if we can help with anything else please don’t hesitate to open a new thread or threads as required 🙂
January 27, 2014 at 5:09 pm in reply to: In the latest plugin is there a printing capability with the Color Coded Addons? #97495Barry
MemberThere’s nothing I know of that would stop you from printing the calendar in colour using your browser’s print page facility.
I mean I bought the Add On for the Calendar Events Pro that color coordinates the scheduling of recurring events.
I’m still not sure what this add-on is and can’t offer any specific help in relation to it. Can you link to it? Who did you buy it from? There’s no problem at all in using other plugins made by third parties, but please understand it is not our responsibility to offer support for them.
Barry
MemberWe’d love to help if we can.
Please visit your Events → Settings → General admin screen and confirm comments are enabled: if they are, try disabling them – save the change – then enable them again and resave.
If that doesn’t help, let’s try to identify if there is a conflict since if I’m understanding you correctly it sounds like you have not yet carried out the above mentioned troubleshooting steps – with that in mind the next set of steps would be as follows:
- Please ensure your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date (it sounds like they are)
- Deactivate all other plugins
- Switch to a default, unmodified theme: I’d recommend Twenty Twelve
Does the problem still occur? If not, can you try reactivating the components of your website one-at-a-time and see if the problem comes back – taking note of whatever you activated when the problem does return (if it does return).
Thanks!

MemberWe’re always open to feature requests and would encourage you to post one 🙂
I’m glad you’re going to give the solution and go and since there’s not too much more we can do here at this time I’ll go ahead and close the thread.
Thanks again for contacting us.

MemberHi @jbusciglio,
I’m afraid that right now our ticketing framework plugins (including EDD Tickets) do not support recurring events, as described on the EDD Tickets product page. This is something we are considering implementing, but it’s not a trivial change and so we don’t as yet have firm plans or a timetable for this functionality.
Does that clarify things?
Barry
MemberHi @woodraf,
I’m sorry that you’ve been hit with problems here and that you don’t feel you’ve had the experience you deserve from support. I reviewed your previous thread but, before we go any further, I just want to clarify if you tried the following steps/ask that you try them now (though I do see you may have done something very similar in the previous thread, I would like to be absolutely sure they were completed strictly in this order):
- Ensure your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date
- Deactivate all other plugins
- Switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve
- Visit the Settings → Permalinks admin screen (you need change nothing, visiting this page is sufficient to “flush” the permalinks)
Do the above steps impact on the problem any more/do they allow you to view your single events?
Barry
MemberSounds like an interesting customization!
I wouldn’t say it is something that requires “serious tailor-made tweaking” exactly but what that might mean does of course vary from person to person and according to how familiar they are with WordPress development in general.
In essence though there is no reason that you couldn’t drop whichever widget is closest to what you want on to the front page and work away at styling it with custom CSS. Please check out the following resources to help get you started on this one, as though I don’t imagine it to be a hugely difficult change it is nonetheless sufficiently specific of a change to be beyond the scope of support that we can offer here:
Does that help at all?
Barry
MemberThat’s a great question and it’s something that you could potentially handle with the tribe_events_ajax_response hook – unfortunately it seems not to be “wired up” correctly and so we’ll have to make a note to fix that.
At this time then what you are trying to achieve wouldn’t be quite as easy as it might otherwise be, but we’ll certainly try to update you here in this thread as soon as we’ve got this sorted.
Barry
MemberSo this all sounds like expected behaviour and, ultimately, you are describing facets of how WooCommerce handles manual orders, refunds and inventory rather than a set of behaviours that are specific to WooCommerce Tickets.
I definitely appreciate that, depending on your viewpoint, this may not be ideal and even a little odd – but our own take is that it is not our responsibility to interfere with the operation of the underlying ecommerce engine (WooCommerce in this case, of course) and that doing so would simply be the wrong course of action. Plus, it would be potentially confusing to boot, especially if you are retailing other merchandise besides tickets.
Remember that a refund does not necessarily mean the stock has been returned/that a person will not be attending. Also, when manually creating orders, remember that you can specify actions such as incrementing or decrementing stock for the line items you add – so that might save you a step or two in this particular scenario.
Beyond that, you would really need to approach WooThemes’ own support channels for further assistance in terms of modifying WooCommerce’s behaviour or learning more about how it works.
Does that help at all/clarify things?

MemberHi Suzy,
Unfortunately I don’t think there is much more we can add here.
While I appreciate you don’t see this as a complex customization it is nonetheless beyond what we can help you with here. This isn’t a case of The Events Calendar malfunctioning, after all: it’s more that you want to shape and mould the output to better fit your own vision of how it should look. That’s fantastic and we wish you every success, but it’s something you will need to drive forward by yourself.
The problem with the 60% width is ultimately due to a rule that you (or someone working on your behalf perhaps) introduced in a custom stylesheet. If it doesn’t behave as you’d like you’re going to have to rethink it or else work with a suitably skilled designer/developer who can take your request and implement it for you.
As Julie explained we can certainly provide you with a list of freelance developer/designers who might be able to help you out further – if you would like to take advantage of that please do email us at pro (at) tri (dot) be and we will be happy to furnish you with that list.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread since we aren’t going to be able to assist further on this one – but we do wish you every success with the project and of course do feel free to post new threads if you need assistance with anything else.

MemberHi @jmbalsa,
I’d love to help but I’m just not clear as to the problem. Can you guide me step-by-step so I can see the problem? I do see the calendar widget, and it looks like it is set to list 0 events below the calendar grid. What are you expecting to see here that isn’t happening?
Thanks!
