In the latest plugin is there a printing capability with the Color Coded Addons?

Just trying to find out if the latest plugin allows for printing the calendar in color with the Color Coded Add on purchase? and or at all? Trying to figure out how to print the calendar for my clients? Thank you. Would appreciate any input to achieve this task. Thank you and maybe if it isn’t available your development team would consider adding this to the future versions. As this is a valuable function for some businesses to be able to print out their schedules for their employees and customers, etc.

I’m not sure what you are referring to here. Is this a plugin by some other vendor?

It certainly may be you find you need to develop your own stylesheets targeting printers to get smooth results when printing any web pages containing our calendar views – but beyond that there’s not too much we can offer here. That said, please do feel free to post feature requests on our UserVoice page if you want to see improvements in this area – we’re always open to new ideas 🙂

I mean I bought the Add On for the Calendar Events Pro that color coordinates the scheduling of recurring events. Sorry if I wasn’t specific enough however I would like to know is it possible to print out the calendar in color as i have set it up with monthly recurring classes and I would like to print that out for my students. Is that feature possible? Thank you sassysanoe

There’s nothing I know of that would stop you from printing the calendar in colour using your browser’s print page facility.

I’m still not sure what this add-on is and can’t offer any specific help in relation to it. Can you link to it? Who did you buy it from? There’s no problem at all in using other plugins made by third parties, but please understand it is not our responsibility to offer support for them.

Aloha Barry,
I am only referring to the Add On Color for Recurring Events and The Calender Events Pro being the plug in. No other vendor just Modern Tribe I am only referring to those two items. How can we print it so that the calendar prints out with the classes in a landscape format with the entire month color coded? Does the Calendar Events Pro have that feature? That is what I am trying to find out as everytime I go to print it doesn’t print our correctly in the month view as that is what view I need so the students can see the list of fitness classes offered for the month. Are you saying you can print just fine? If so how are you printing? The Color Recurring is the ADD-ON as that is how it is listed in my dashboard. No other product being referred to here but the Calendar Events Pro and the Add-On Color Coordinating Recurring Events etc. Appreciate it if you could advise me on how you are printing and are you able to print in the whole month view and will it show up in color? Thank you

So the short answer is no – we don’t have a specific ‘Print this calendar’ feature baked into The Events Calendar (but please do consider making this a feature request):

• Visitors can use their web browser’s print page functionality for this
• To ensure a clean layout that displays and fits nicely on the printed page you will probably need to add a new stylesheet specifically targeting printers – I’m afraid that is beyond what we can help you with here, however, and to some extent it will depend on your theme and what printer-specific styles it has already added (if any)
• Will it show up in color? Possibly, if the person printing it has a color printer and their web browser and printer drivers etc support this
• I’m going to assume the Color Coded Addon you are referring to is this plugin – but please note it is not a Modern Tribe plugin and not something we can support you with here

I hope that helps or at least clarifies things – unfortunately I don’t think there is much more we can do to help on this occasion unless you have any final questions?

Wow I thought the Color Coded Addon belonged to Modern Tribe as it was offered with it as Extras? Hmm okay. Get it now. Just would like to print whether in color or not but i have already put in a request. Thanks I will try to see how to get it to work. Thank you as a Calendar I would think that a printing option would just be automatic. Thank you for your time.
