MemberIt’s unrelated to The Events Calendar, but we believe it has been resolved as of Event Tickets/Event Tickets Plus 4.7 🙂
Of course if you are encountering problems even with those versions in place, please let us know.

MemberThanks, @kerrycarron.
We are having a similar issue (delay in updating, preview etc.) when trying to update a location. The venue shows up in the list and when selected, it simply will not accept that venue
So to be crystal clear about this:
- You are creating a new event or editing an existing one
- You already have a number of venues defined
- When you try to select a venue for the event, the dropdown doesn’t respect your choice
Can you clarify if it initially seems to work, but comes “undone” after you save the event – or is the problem with the venue selector (the fact it isn’t letting you select a specific venue) already apparent before you save/hit the publish or update button?
I am also curious to learn if there are any Javascript errors. Would you be able to open your browser’s Javascript console (see links below to learn more about doing this) and look for any errors – particularly “type errors” – that appear there?
Thanks!

MemberHi Steve,
Thanks for all the detailed notes.
Using Query Monitor and other similar tools you will certainly see references to Event Aggregator but, if your license key has not been added to your site, we can safely discount them. Those function calls should “bail out” very quickly indeed under those conditions with no appreciable impact on performance.
Some thoughts: we have a lot of venues and a lot of organizers.
Can you tell us how many events, venues and organizers are currently in the database? 21 seconds for the submission page to reload suggests that either site resources may be struggling given the amount of data that’s in place, and/or there could be additional but unnecessary HTTP requests further slowing things down.
Could you share your up-to-date system information and can you also let me know if you have a staging site available (if so, does it have the approximately the same range of data as your live site and do you see the same problem there, too)?
Thanks!

MemberHi @eswp,
By default, individual attendee names are not collected when you sell tickets with WooCommerce.
I suspect in your case you have defined additional attendee meta fields to collect that information, which is great, but of course those fields could contain almost anything (some event organizers may use them to collect food allergy information for instance) and it’s not readily possible for us to know which fields should be included in the ticket emails.
It’s certainly possible to add it via a customization, though, or indeed you could try this handy optional extension:
theeventscalendar.com/extensions/add-event-and-attendee-information-to-woocommerce-order-details
Does that meet your needs here?

MemberHey there Diane: just to confirm, everything is now working? As that’s what it sounds like I’m going to mark this ticket as “resolved” but do let me know if you’re still encountering difficulties.
Of course, if you hit any other issues you can create a fresh support ticket at any time 🙂
Barry
MemberFantastic, thanks for confirming you’re all set 🙂
I’ll go ahead and close this topic, but if you need help with anything else please don’t hesitate to create a new ticket and one of the team will be only too happy to assist.

MemberHi @mdchswebdev,
Apologies for the delay: Jaime is out this week and I’ll be happy to help you (for future reference though, please note we do not typically provide support over the weekend).
I’d love to look at this in the context of your site, but it doesn’t seem to be loading correctly/is extremely slow. Can you provide a direct URL (by private reply if you prefer) to one of the relevant single events?
Thanks!

MemberNo, I’m afraid we can’t offer any guarantees beyond what we state on the product page — which is that the key can be used on up to 10 sites. Don’t misunderstand: we would of course do our best to accommodate your needs — I just can’t promise being able to meet them since what you are asking before goes beyond our current product offering.
How about this: I could generate you a completely new key, on the next tier, and you could try that out for up to one month: the existing key would be unmodified and you could switch back at any time.
If you then find this fits your needs nicely, you can upgrade your existing key. Would that work for you?

MemberRight – so upgrading to a license that provides more than 200 imports per day would be the answer.
In this case, the Event Hub license is the tier you need 🙂
Barry
MemberPerhaps I’m misunderstand you here: but whether you buy a new key or upgrade and keep your existing key, the restrictions on the number of domains will not change. That to say, if that specific issue is not currently something you are hitting up against (and it doesn’t sound like it is), that won’t change just by upgrading.
Does that make sense?
