ParticipantWe have three additional fields that we are capturing on the ticket screen. After checkout, when we go to the attendees screen, the link for View Details is not shown. When we export the attendee list, we see columns for those fields, but nothing entered during the order is saved. This has worked in the past, and events from last year are showing the link correctly.

KeymasterHi Chris,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first troubleshooting step, can you try updating all of your Events Calendar related plugins and see if that resolves the issue?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantI updated to the latest version of Events Calendar Pro (renewing out license) and it didn’t address the issue. I tried adding new fields to my event but they are still not being captured. I don’t see the View Detail link, and when I export the attendee data, I see the columns for the fields but no data in them. Let me know if you need further details.

KeymasterHi Chris,
Could you please provide us with your complete updated system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Can you also provide me with some screenshots of what you are seeing on the backend, so that I can do some testing on my end?
In the meantime, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Chris,
Thanks for providing me with this information. I recreated the scenario that you have described and I am unable to replicate this issue on my end.
Let me know how your testing for conflicts goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
