MemberHi Neil,
Thanks for taking the time to check out our plugins 🙂
So it sounds like both Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus may be of interest as a way of letting your customers making bookings (for free or by paying).
Events created with The Events Calendar – as with WordPress posts generally – are “oEmbeddable” and so can indeed be embedded into other websites, even if they are not powered by WordPress, however the ticket form itself is not directly oEmbeddable. That said, we pride ourselves on producing code that can easily be extended, so if you were willing to invest in a modest amount of custom development work I’m sure you could use our existing plugins as a solid foundation on which to build a working solution.
I hope that helps, but do let me know if you have other questions.

MemberHi there, Matt.
We do indeed have a record of that domain, though it looks like the license keys were issued under our non-profit program.
I wanted to flag that as we don’t generally offer technical support to non-profit license holders (much as we might want to, it just wouldn’t be economical for us to provide unlimited free updates as well as the same level of support we give to paying customers).
If you need help re-establishing access to your account (so you can grab plugin updates manually, for instance) we’d be happy to help with that – please reach out via our contact form and we’ll be happy to assist further via email (it looks like the email address associated with the account has the same domain as the one you used when you posted this thread, so there shouldn’t be too big of a problem here) 🙂
Please also remove this question after resolved as I was unaware it was to be published publicly.
Sure – let me know when you’re happy and we can remove this conversation.

MemberHi Jonah,
It looks like you are using Divi and we do know of some odd problems that can happen when that theme runs alongside our own plugins.
theeventscalendar.com/extensions/elegant-themes-divi-theme-compatibility
Can you review the above post, try the recommended extension and see if that resolves some or all of what you have described?
Thanks!

MemberHi there CLRH20,
You would pay the same price each year (and in this case, for those three plugins, that would indeed be $267 each year).
Please also note that you are free to end your subscription at any time and the plugins will continue to function as they did previously, however you will only have access to support and updates for as long as your subscription is current (there is also no guarantee that out-of-date plugins will continue to run on more recent versions of WordPress, etc).
Something you might be interested in is our range of product bundles, which provide a means of saving money when you purchase multiple plugins in one transaction. If there’s a combination like the one you mentioned that isn’t covered by an existing bundle, not a problem!
If you can confirm the email address you provided when you created this ticekt is still valid we’d be happy to send you a coupon to provide you with equivalent savings 🙂
May 14, 2018 at 4:39 pm in reply to: Question: Map Pin Colors & Event labels based on Member Types for Community Subs #1530226Barry
MemberHi CLRH20,
My apologies for the delay in responding. Unfortunately, your post was inadvertently marked as spam.
01) Can On-Map Pin colors can be specified by User Type? … is this possible?
Absolutely – if the Google Maps API supports it, you can do it. However this is not something we facilitate “out of the box” and would require some amount of custom development to implement.
02) Can the label of “EVENT” be changed so that one member classes’ additions to the calendar are called *Something Not event Here*, and the other member class uses the default *EVENT* label for their community submissions?
Yes! Again, it would require some amount of custom development.
In this case we have a free extension available that, while not meeting your needs directly, shows how this can be done at code level and could be an interesting point of reference.
We really do pride ourselves on the flexibility of our plugin code: neither of the things you’ve asked about are available directly, but are certainly in reach of a capable WordPress dev if you have a budget to customize them further.

MemberYou’re absolutely right.
Unfortunately (sharing this as a public reply in case it’s helpful to others) there is a distinct bug with the Buy Now Button form that you see in list view. At least for EDD tickets with their own stock level, it displays the total stock and not remaining available stock.
Though it also impacts inventory, it is otherwise unrelated to the initial issue you flagged. I have of course created a bug report for this so the team can take further action. We’ll aim to post an update once we’re ready to release a fix for this.

MemberI didn’t, though the same technique could be applied to all impacted events/tickets.
Alternatively we can try and build something more plug-and-play for you, but that will definitely take a little longer to do (we’re happy to, I just want you to be aware it might add some further delay – so depending on how many tickets are impacted that may or may not make sense for you).
May 11, 2018 at 12:24 pm in reply to: Importing via WordPress Importer doesn't import featured images #1528608Barry
MemberHi Paolo,
Thanks for reaching out 🙂
Thinking of post data and exports in WordPress on a general level, the featured image is usually stored as a piece of post meta field which contains the ID of the image. Here’s an example of how this looks, once exported to XML:
<wp:postmeta> <wp:meta_key>_thumbnail_id</wp:meta_key> <wp:meta_value>123</wp:meta_value> </wp:postmeta>
In my example, the featured image is an uploaded image which has a post ID of 123. This is important because:
- If you are only importing/exporting events, venues and organizers then the media post data will be missing on the destination site
- Unless you are importing to a ‘pristine’ installation with no existing data in the post table, that post ID may not exist or may point to the wrong type of post
That to say, I’m not sure this is a shortcoming of our plugins so much as a limitation of what is possible with WP’s native import/export tools.
Does that make sense? Let me know if you have more questions! Do also feel free to share your export data if you like.

MemberHi there Renee,
Thanks for taking the time to check out our range of plugins 🙂
search for a registrant
Yes, on a per-event basis.
For example, if you sell tickets to an event then, when those are purchased, attendee records are generated. Within the admin environment you can visit an attendee screen where it lists all attendees for that event. I want to draw your attention to a few things though:
- There is no global search, so no baked-in means of searching for an attendee across all events
- By default attendees are associated with the purchaser name (that may or may not be important for you/your client) … it’s possible to use Event Tickets Plus to collect additional fields such as individual attendee names however these are not currently searchable out of the box
Those caveats may or may not matter too much, but I wanted to flag them.
see a registrant’s history (which other seascape events they’ve attended)
Indirectly. If you sell tickets via WooCommerce, for example (though we also support Easy Digital Downloads) then you can easily navigate to the associated order from the attendee screen and search the order records from there.
refund a registration
Absolutely, though you may need to perform some manual stock control after doing this, depending on the situation (sometimes a refund means stock is freed up, on other occasions it may be a customer service gesture and the ticket may remain valid).
transfer a registration
Yes! You can move an attendee from one event to another or even within an event from one ticket type (regular seats) to another (VIP seats).
download registration list
Yes! The attendee screen offers a printable list and export facilities.
copy events so that I am not reinventing the wheel every time I post a new event
Sorry — this isn’t supported at this time.
allow instructors to view and download registrations to their events
If you were to grant them access to the admin environment (though this may not be desirable), yes. Otherwise there is no built-in mechanism for this … yet.
as part of the checkout process, I need people to be able to display a waiver
This is generally best implemented as a customization of the checkout experience and that means it’s really a matter of customizing WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads … I think you’ll find there may be existing extensions/plugins to help with this specifically but it’s not directly in our wheelhouse.
automatic email or text reminders to registrants reminding them that their event is coming up
Sorry … this is not yet available.
ability to email registrants through the system
Another one that’s possible, but indirectly (you’d probably find it easier to do it via the facilities provided by the ecommerce plugin).
I hope that helps, but let me know if I can clarify anything for you.

MemberHi Bob and Mary,
Andras is out for the rest of the week so I took a quick peek to see if I could help.
On reviewing the theme, it seems it is missing a call to body_class() — if you could add this, it ought to solve the problem 🙂
If the theme is a custom one built especially for this site, simply change line 20 of the theme’s header.php file from
to <body <?php body_class(); ?>> … if it is a theme you obtained from a different vendor then consider making this change via a child theme to avoid problems when you next update the base theme (in which case, it would probably also be smart to reach out and make the theme author aware of this requirement).
Hope that helps!
Barry
MemberGreat, sounds like you’re all sorted 🙂
Barry
MemberWe’ll post an update as soon as we know, but I’m afraid we can’t really offer a timeline for the fix at this stage.
