MemberThanks again for your patience and we’ll try to post an update in this topic once the fix is ready 🙂

MemberOK – would it be possible for you to modify your timezone setting from America/Denver to the matching numeric/offset timezone (ie UTC-7 or whatever is appropriate) and does that help as an interim solution?
Barry
MemberThanks for sharing the feed. I’ll perform some tests with that this morning and get back to you 🙂
On the homepage of my website, the dates are completely wrong
On taking a closer look, those parts of your homepage (and single event page) are not consistent with what I’d expect to see if you were using our stock templates.
Is it possible you have customized things or that your theme shipped with customizations targeting our plugins? Perhaps they are using an old or incorrect template tag if so?
One way to check this out would be to switch to a default, unmodified theme that does not contain any customizations/overrides and see if the same problem still crops in the single event page. You could also deploy our Events List widget and again check to see if the same problem occurs there.
Beyond that, let’s concentrate on the duplication issue in the first instance and we can circle back to this problem (possibly in a different thread, especially if it is unrelated to iCal Importer).
Thanks and I’ll update you again as quickly as I can 🙂

MemberHi Dien!
May I ask, is this a test site? If so, would it be possible to deactivate all other plugins (except for ours) and switch to a default, unmodified theme like Twenty Sixteen so I can take a look at the problem under normal conditions?
Can you also confirm which version of Safari you are using?
Barry
MemberSo things are just slightly out of sync there – can you update Events Calendar PRO to the latest version and does that help with this issue?
Barry
MemberHappy to help 🙂
Switching to pretty permalinks (without any index.php element) would definitely be ideal here – but let me know how you get on or if you hit further problems.

MemberAwesome, glad things worked out – and yep we’ll get that knowledgebase article updated 🙂

MemberThanks!
Unfortunately, nothing obvious is jumping out at me there.
Are you or have you been able to follow our standard troubleshooting steps and see if the problem persists with nothing but our plugins and an unmodified, default theme in place?
I realize you noted having run through these steps when you first created the support topic, but occasionally people check those fields by accident so I wanted to double check on this.
Also, if after stripping things down to this point you noticed no difference, it could be worth trying again and flushing permalinks (by visiting Settings &rarr Permalinks) before moving on and reactivating everything.
Could we give that a try?
Thanks!

MemberThank you, though I’m afraid we’re not permitted to login to the admin environments of customer sites.
Can you share your system information?

MemberHi Frank,
Thanks for contacting us!
Is there ANY way I can specify the recurring properties already when importing, instead of going through a hundred events by hand after importing?
I’m afraid that, at this time, there is no particular support for recurring events in terms of CSV import.
I was also sorry to hear that you hit up against a range of other issues when working with the CSV importer, however – although I realize you are asking this because you’re considering purchasing Events Calendar PRO – I’m afraid we don’t provide technical support here in the pre-sales forum.
Instead, if you require further assistance for any of the specific problems you noted please:
- Post in our wordpress.org forum – which is open to all users
- If you have purchased a license key you can log in and post in our premium forums instead
Thanks!

MemberHi @schlauchius,
Sorry to hear you have hit up against some problems.
It sounds like you are aware that our ticketing solutions do not support recurring events – so I’m afraid there’s not really too much we can do here. Generally speaking, I’d advise that you do not add tickets to recurring events otherwise complications like this unfortunately can spring up.
Coding a replacement for the Tribe__Tickets_Plus__QR::handle_redirects() method is probably the best way to workaround this (you don’t need to modify plugin code directly to do this, either – simply unhook it from init and re-hook your replacement function) – but I’m afraid that’s beyond what we can do for you here on the support forums 🙁
Sorry, but I can’t offer much more on this occasion.

MemberHi Dien,
I’m sorry to hear you have hit up against some difficulties.
Could you share your system information by private reply? Sometimes that is useful when diagnosing problems like this one.
I also notice that it appears not to work as expected when I test it with Google Chrome, it just won’t filter – though, interestingly, the reset link appears to work.
Besides testing with a default theme have you also tried deactivating other plugins as described in our troubleshooting guide?
Barry
MemberHi Mattia,
Great to hear you are already using The Events Calendar – and thanks for considering our other plugins 🙂
1) Calendar view = default template (full-width) but Single event view = page w custom sidebar
Events Calendar Pro does not add any additional functionality in this respect. This sort of thing is possible as a customization, but I’m afraid we don’t have a setting to help you out here.
2) Translate everything.
We’ve worked hard to make everything we can translatable 🙂
If you’re finding there are areas which are not translated you can either submit the missing translations or post a report of the problem if you find you are unable to do so. To learn more, please see:
3) Set a widget for list all the events by tags (or category or any other sentence) as you can do with the filter tag on the main event calendar page.
Now this is something you could buy PRO for: once installed, the events list widget becomes “super-charged” and you can apply tag and category filters to it 🙂
Does that help?

MemberHi Edgar,
Sorry for any confusion.
Event Tickets Plus essentially replaces WooCommerce Tickets (and our other ecommerce plugin-specific ticketing plugins). We spent a lot of time on the backwards compatibility angle of Event Tickets Plus so the transition should be a smooth one.
What I’d recommend is switching to ET+ and removing WooCommerce Tickets at your earliest convenience (due to its imminent retirement it shortly will be no longer possible to renew, upgrade or even purchase WooCommerce Tickets in any case).
Does that clarify things?

MemberHi Arnold,
Sorry to hear you have experienced difficulties.
Could you share your system information? Sometimes that can provide us with useful insights such as whether a role-editing plugin has been installed that might have altered your user capabilities (remember to use our private reply facility when posting this information).
Beyond that, what sort of user role are you logged in as when you experience this – Administrator, Editor, something custom?
Thanks!
