    Dear service team,

I’ve finally installed and updated all the necessary plugins to activate the QR code function. I’m using recurring events so I’m used to the problem already that I have only one attendee list (the first event of the event series).

Now I’ve tried to scan a valid and not checked-in ticket but it says that the event is in the past. Of course it’s in the past because it’s the first of my recurring events which happened in September.

Is there any workaround for that problem?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi @schlauchius,

Sorry to hear you have hit up against some problems.

It sounds like you are aware that our ticketing solutions do not support recurring events – so I’m afraid there’s not really too much we can do here. Generally speaking, I’d advise that you do not add tickets to recurring events otherwise complications like this unfortunately can spring up.

Coding a replacement for the Tribe__Tickets_Plus__QR::handle_redirects() method is probably the best way to workaround this (you don’t need to modify plugin code directly to do this, either – simply unhook it from init and re-hook your replacement function) – but I’m afraid that’s beyond what we can do for you here on the support forums 🙁

Sorry, but I can’t offer much more on this occasion.
