    Hi Dawn,

Thanks once again for bringing this issue to our attention.

After further investigation we believe the automated report you shared to have contained false positives and so will not be taking any more steps on this one.

If you have any questions or concerns about this, however, please feel free to let me know 🙂

Thanks for taking the time to report these issues!

We take security very seriously and will look into this in more detail and let you know what we find.

I would like to take a moment to ask that, in future, you share issues like this by email (or else open a topic and then share the report details via a follow-up private reply): this is simply to guard against the possibility of legitimate security issues being exposed publicly when they don’t have to be, as there could be consequences for many other users in such a case.

Again, our thanks for highlighting this and we’ll report back after we’ve had a chance to verify the cited problems.

    Hi Ronald,

That’s not something I’m immediately able to replicate. Could this be specific to your theme and can you provide a link so I can see an example of this behaviour? I did try to find its usage on your site, but it appears to be behind a maintenance page at the moment.

Could you also confirm what sort of mobile device you are using in your testing and what its screen size is, if you know this?

    Thanks!

    OK – thanks for confirming.

I looked at your site and there are some interesting patterns there, but what I’d love is if you could link me to a specific example and additionally provide screenshots of the recurrence settings (from within the event editor), with details expanded for each recurrence rule.

This will help to provide us with a clearer picture and – hopefully! – we’ll be able to progress things from there 🙂

    Hi Brent!

Thanks for contacting us and I’m sorry to hear you’ve experienced some difficulties.

Am I correct in thinking you are referring to the province field displayed within the checkout form? If so, the fastest way to receive help with this – as the checkout form in this case is generated by WooCommerce rather than by our own plugins – would be to approach either the Woo support team or that of your theme provider.

Event Tickets Plus integrates with WooCommerce (amongst other ecommerce plugins), but is not responsible for and does not interfere with the checkout process itself.

I hope that helps or at least points you in the right direction 🙂

    Hi Ronald 🙂

As with the mini calendar widget itself, it is designed first and foremost to fit within a relatively confined space. It can indeed expand if you use it elsewhere – but not to the point where it takes on the qualities of the ‘full’ month view calendar.

‘Responsive’ is really quite a wide-ranging term: are there specific properties you are looking for, here?

    Thanks!

    Hi Josh,

Thanks for contacting us and I’m sorry to hear you’ve been hitting up against some difficulties.

That does seem pretty odd … I also notice that many of the tooltips within month view don’t appear to be displaying as expected. Can you confirm if any modifications have been made?

I also wonder if you’d be able to perform our regular troubleshooting steps? You don’t necessarily have to cause disruption to your live site in order to do this. A good alternative is as follows:

    • Create a test site – which can be as simple as a fresh WordPress installation in a subdirectory (most hosting control panels make it really fast to get a fresh install up and running in this way)
    • Install nothing except the latest versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO
    • Create a fresh set of recurring events — do you encounter the same problem? If you do, please pause and link us to the test site before making any further changes
    • Assuming you don’t hit any problems at this stage, begin adding the same plugins and ultimately the same theme that you use on your live site, periodically creating fresh sets of recurring events to test against
    • By doing this, are you able to identify any conflicts with other components?

I hope that makes sense and let me know how you get on!

Ah hah, APM was indeed the piece of the picture I was missing!

Now we’re on the same page, I see exactly the same thing and will log this as a bug: as soon as a fix is ready, we’ll do our best to drop an update here in this forum topic.

Thanks for reporting this and our apologies for any inconvenience in the meantime.

    Hi Teri,

I’m sorry to hear you’ve hit up against problems.

I can replicate exactly the same thing and it appears to be a bug: I’ll get this logged and we’ll do our best to get a fix out as quickly as we can.

Thank you for reporting this and our apologies for any inconvenience in the meantime.

    Hi Dirk,

I’m sorry for the delay in responding – and of course disappointed to here you’ve hit up against problems with the global stock facilities.

That’s an odd issue: I have to admit, I’m not actually sure what is responsible for that particular column (“Voorraad”/Stock) – can you confirm if that has been added by a customization or by another plugin?

It would also be great to see your system information, if you’re able to share it. Are you using the latest versions of our plugins?

    Thanks!

    Hi Olivier!

I’m guessing you’re primarily interested in the events that fire after ajax navigation completes. If so, ajax-success.tribe is probably what you’re looking for.

    Hi Andy,

It’s not an issue I know of and isn’t something I’m immediately able to replicate, either.

Just to cover our bases: you are clicking Save Ticket after making this change? Also, are you in a position to perform our complete troubleshooting steps?

The basic idea would be to deactivate all other plugins and switch to a default theme such as Twenty Seventeen – then create a new event and set of tickets and see if the same thing happens under those conditions (this would help us to discover if the problem is the result of a plugin or theme conflict).

Of course, you may prefer to run through those steps on an isolated test site – which could be as simple as a fresh WP install in a subdirectory.

Last but not least, I’d additionally recommend that you update to the latest versions of all our plugins.

Thanks and let me know how you get on!

    Apologies, Sebastien:

You’ve actually hit up against a legitimate bug that impacts both the shortcode and some of our widgets. A fix is in the works as I write this and all being well should be available in the next Events Calendar PRO release.

For the time being, you can work around this by creating a template override:

    • Create a new file within your theme at themes/YOUR_THEME/tribe-events/pro/widgets/modules/single-event.php
    • This should contain the code found here

Does that work for you, at least until we roll out a definitive fix?
