Sebastien
Participant[tribe_events_list address=”yes”] only shows the street name.
What do I need to do to get the full address that includes the zip code, state and country?
Am I expected to paste the full event address in the street name field?
Thank you.February 14, 2017 at 4:16 pm #1234870Barry
MemberHi Sebastien,
Thanks for posting – and no, you don’t need to paste the full event address in the street name field 🙂
In this case you could try something along these lines:
[tribe_events_list address="yes" city="yes" country="yes" zip="yes"]
“Address” may not be the very clearest name for this attribute: our apologies if that caused some confusion. Also, a handy reference for this shortcode can be found here.
I hope that helps!

ParticipantThank you Barry, but that is not working for me.
See http://www.thelaughterconsultants.com/shop/test/
The code I use is [tribe_events_list city=”yes” region=”yes” country=”yes” ]
All of my events have a confirmed address (city, state, country) that shows correctly on the map, yet here the state (and zip code) show as “yes”
What am I missing?February 15, 2017 at 3:25 pm #1236623Barry
MemberApologies, Sebastien:
You’ve actually hit up against a legitimate bug that impacts both the shortcode and some of our widgets. A fix is in the works as I write this and all being well should be available in the next Events Calendar PRO release.
For the time being, you can work around this by creating a template override:
- Create a new file within your theme at themes/YOUR_THEME/tribe-events/pro/widgets/modules/single-event.php
- This should contain the code found here
Does that work for you, at least until we roll out a definitive fix?

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!

Just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, including a fix for this issue.
Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-of-27-may-2018/
We apologize for the long delay and appreciate your patience while we worked on this.
Please update the plugins and see if the fix works for your site.
