MemberHi Matt!
Rob asked me to take a look at this: unfortunately the loop.php and loop-post-formats.php code you linked to is taking me to a 404 not found page.
It’s probably going to be a lot easier if you could shoot the theme across to me in .zip format – then I can quickly inspect whatever files I need to – simply make sure your email is clearly for my attention and send it across ([email protected]).
If that isn’t possible for any reason just let me know and we’ll figure something else out.

MemberNot really sure why you are experiencing problems with your minicalendar tooltips, but you’re bang on about the other widgets. Third time luck 😉 http://pastebin.com/t6GeB5uE

MemberYep good catch, my bad. Try this: http://pastebin.com/kZeZEeS0

MemberHi Alexis, so one thing I’m noticing is a Javascript issue on that page:
Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL http://s154355.gridserver.com/app/event/universal-citywalk-music-spotlight-series/2012-10-19/ from frame with URL http://www.youtube.com/embed/exHVpnM39vQ?rel=0&wmode=transparent. Domains, protocols and ports must match.
So that’s a possible clue – basically a problem with the embedded YouTube video. Some Javascript issues like this can be real show stoppers and in this particular case I don’t believe this stems from The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO, even though it may impact upon them.
It may be that is enough information to let you fix the YouTube issue, but if not can I refer you back to my previous post and ask that you complete the steps I suggested and advise me of the outcome?

MemberThanks Fanny, we really do appreciate contributions like this – as of course will so many others who require this for their sites.
Barry
MemberI’m not sure, can you provide a link to the event in question? Can you also confirm what the address is (as detailed in the event editor) for that event?
Barry
MemberNo problem at all 🙂

MemberHi Simon – does Tim’s answer clarify things and do you need any additional support on this one?

MemberHi Fred, if you bear with me I’m just discussing this thread with my colleagues on the support team and I’ll get back to you no later than tomorrow.

MemberNo problem – we’ll leave this open and I’ll update you as soon as I hear something back: however, realistically there could be a delay of some days before we get to that point.
We totally appreciate your patience and continued support.

MemberCertainly, you should be able to find it on line ~361 of tribe-events-calendar-fr_FR.po (itself contained in wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang).
It looks something like this: http://pastebin.com/1XNqKsFU

MemberHi Ken, sorry about the delay getting back to you.
Yes I would expect that to show the post date (which is typically the date the event was created) – I’m sure it’s possible to do something else there with some further action and filter magic but I’d reckon that is outwith the scope of support we can provide here.
Barry
MemberThanks Andy!
Are you all sorted here Kathryn/do you need any further support?
Barry
MemberJust to add – I’ve asked for feedback from the devs as to whether these functions will continue to be included (as they have anyway been deprecated) or if they remain to see if it is possible to have an upgrade-friendly way of “turning them off”.
Barry
MemberHi Steven!
These are left in place for backwards compatibility with older, third-party code. However, you should be able to remove them without too much difficulty – just be aware that you would need to repeat this process for future updates (if they are still present in future releases).
One approach would simply be to comment out sp_ prefixed functions: http://pastebin.com/5bEFuQjh
Does that help you here? Of course, if this caused any problems you would need to uncomment them again.
