MemberHi Fanny – thanks for the feedback 🙂
A great overview of what is involved in translation can be found here:

If you are successful in this we’d certainly welcome your translation if you wished to contribute it (you could send the .po and .mo files to us at [email protected]).
Thanks for getting in touch 🙂

MemberUnfortunately I’m still unable to replicate this. Before we go any further can I ask you to run through these standard troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure that all of your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date
- Deactivate all other plugins
- Switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Eleven
- Try to replicate this behaviour
- If this resolves the problem, reactivate everything one-at-a-time, retesting at each point to see if the issue returns
That may help identify a conflict with some other code running on your installation. Are you able to run through those steps and let me know how you get on?

MemberThanks Fred. I’ve put this problem to our developers (our reference is #18402) and hopefully we can sort something out here.

MemberSure! Well so there are a few options out there as outlined above.
I don’t think there is much else we can do to help at this point so I’m inclined to close this ticket – but if you do need further help please don’t hesitate to get back in touch.

MemberThanks for the speedy response Alexis!
Can you try our standard troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure your Modern Tribe plugins are up to date
- Disable all other plugins
- Switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Eleven
- If the problem disappears, reactivate everything one-at-a-time, testing at each stage
- If you notice that your theme or a particular plugin causes the problem to return, this is a likely conflict
Can you give that a try?

MemberOne other thing I’d highlight (could also be useful for anyone else out there who might be interested in this), I think the approach I would advocate here is using the Events List Advanced Widget, which allows control over the number of events to be shown (and customizing it as necessary via template overrides).
If for any reason you absolutely need to make the Next Event widget display multiple events however, it’s possible to accomplish this without hacking the core:
Cheers 🙂

MemberHi Alexis. If you login (to your site) and navigate to Events > Settings > General can you confirm that the Enable Google Maps box has been checked?
Can you also confirm that on each event you have checked the Show Google Map box (in the Event Location Details section)?
Thanks!

MemberHi Craig – I note that you have tried deactivating other plugins, but have you also simultaneously tried reverting to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Eleven?
Is it possible that modifications have been made to core plugin code? Can you try uploading fresh copies of both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, overwriting the existing ones?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberGreat!

MemberHi Tony, sorry about the wait. Perhaps you are thinking of the code found on line ~34 of this file:
events-calendar-pro/lib/widget-featured.class.php
You should see a little piece of text in there looking like “numResults=1” – does that sound like the code you are looking for?
As always, we do advise against this sort of modification for the very reason that such a change can be overwritten upon updating.

MemberHi Andrew. Does something like this meet your requirements? http://pastebin.com/DbW3ksYC
Barry
MemberSorry to hear that Chris, certainly works for me without any problems. Perhaps you could post your theme functions file (if that’s where you inserted the code) using a service like Pastebin or Gist, it’s impossible to help without seeing how the code has been used.
If you could do that and also quote the error in its entirety (since it ought to include a line number which may be relevant) that would be great 🙂
Thanks!

MemberSure, point taken – and you’ll be pleased to hear some significant restructuring (in terms of templates and the granularity of customizations) is in the works so stay tuned on that front.
One other thing I would highlight is that the Eventbrite ticket box is called from within single.php, albeit the syntax is a little odd:
You can of course override single.php, so you could replace the above call with your own code or even separate it out into a new template if you wanted to do so – there’s nothing to stop you from using WordPress’s get_template_part() function here.
Just some ideas 🙂

MemberOK, so using just The Events Calendar and Eventbrite Tickets I can see that the organizer name is indeed outlined with a red box (if I use the name of an existing organizer) however it does not prevent me from submitting the event.
I agree this is confusing and will report this as a bug – however can I ask you to confirm that, if you ignore the red outlining of these fields, you can still publish the event and push it to Eventbrite, or do you see a new error at this point?
