MemberYes. Please see this specific post (from an otherwise unrelated thread):
Does that help at all?
Barry
MemberPlease go ahead and send us an email requesting a free copy of PRO – if you could include a link back to this thread so we can track where the request came from that would be great π
Barry
MemberPossibly but I can’t guarantee it – as a general rule all of our plugins should be in synch, so if you are using Eventbrite Tickets 1.0.5 you should be using The Events Calendar 2.0.11.
Barry
MemberOK – so WooTickets 1.0 is not compatible with WooCommerce 2.0.x and you will need to update it.
Barry
MemberThat actual steps vary from host to host depending on what restrictions might be in place/how the hosting environment is configured. Often you can do this by editing the php.ini file or occasionally by changing the .htaccess file – but do take the time to confirm with your host first of all.

MemberThanks Khaled.
That’s pretty much how I pictured this however I could not replicate it. Going back to the basic troubleshooting you did at the start: after deactivating all non-Modern Tribe plugins and reverting to a default theme, did you try creating a new test event at that point?
If so, did this problem manifest itself with that new event (if you didn’t try this can I ask you to do so now)?
Barry
MemberCan you confirm which version of WooCommerce you are using and also which version of WooTickets?

MemberOK … I’m guessing you mean a filter in the sense of one of the options in the Filters & Columns meta box? If so, I still can’t replicate this. Can you distil this down to a set of steps I can follow so I can be sure I’m doing the same thing as you/your client?
If alternatively you mean a different sort of filter (such as the WordPress hook variety) again please provide the specific details and we’ll take a look.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi Matt, for the time being the best approach is to turn off the display of errors.
Barry
MemberHi David.
If you select Event Cats from the Add a Filter dropdown you will be able to choose a category that you wish to use as a filter. From there, simply click on Apply.
Does that help?
Barry
MemberHi Phillippe.
If I visit your example page it seems to be for a free event and I can add it to the cart without any problems.
Am I misunderstanding the problem?

MemberHi Khaled,
I can’t replicate this on my own installation. Is there any further detail you can provide – which filter are you referring to?

MemberHi p36p,
What you are asking about certainly sounds possible – it may be possible to do this purely using extra post meta fields or else by bolting on a schema of your own.
The actual implementation is something you/your developer(s) will need to work out, and so we can’t guide you as to the development cost I’m afraid.

MemberHi Andrew,
Thanks for posting. Like we covered in our email it is possible to achieve this but it’s not the sort of customization we can guide you through.
Tickets are stored as posts and the ticket numbers reflect the corresponding post ID, so you would either need to work with the WordPress API/directly with the database to modify this or else create your own parallel numbering system.
Generally speaking it can’t just echo the order number because it’s possible to have multiple tickets per order.
Sorry we can’t offer up more on this occasion, but we can definitely leave this open and see if anyone else has ideas/tips.

MemberHi Mac, thanks for the comments.
As annoying as the warning that my ecp license is expired I canβt afford to put my clients at risk for any failure during update.
The reality with any update – whether relating to our plugins or those of another vendor, or even core WordPress updates – is that the potential exists for it to fail before it completes, so to avoid any risk to your client you need to have a solid strategy in place that will let you recover from failure.
In that regard The Events Calendar and our other plugins are really no different to any other plugin/theme/core WP update and don’t carry any particularly greater risks.
If you are seeing the license expired notice (and actually your license is still valid and your license key settings here on tri.be are also correct) then that is definitely an annoyance but it is a separate issue and you should open a new thread of your own to let us know (but please read Leah’s sticky first of all).
Hopefully someone from the Tribe team can post an All Clear when it is safe to update?
Take the usual precautions – backup and know how to restore that backup – and you should be good to go π
