MemberHi Jean-Philippe,
We’re currently in the pre-sales forum, so although we are happy to help if you need technical support can I ask you to post your question in either the Events Calendar PRO forum or if you have not yet purchased one of our products then in the corresponding wordpress.org support forum?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHmm, well there are a couple of Javascript errors in there – that suggests there might be a conflict somewhere along the line. Are you positive that the problem remained after turning off other plugins and reverting to a default, unmodified theme?
As an aside, although I don’t think it should cause a problem, I do notice your site is using jQuery 1.9.1 (whereas the version currently bundled with WordPress, which The Events Calendar expects, is 1.8.3).

MemberExcellent, hope all else goes smoothly 🙂
I’ll close this thread – but please feel free to create new threads as needed if you need further support on anything.
Barry
MemberSure – please email my colleague Leah ([email protected]) and include a link to this thread as well as a forwarded copy of your PayPal receipt – and she’ll be happy to help if possible to do so 🙂

MemberSo I created two test events, one assigned to the only category present and one not, both events recurring annually and ending after 4 years – and I viewed the list of events with and without the event cat filter, I couldn’t see the original problem you described:
Now this event should recur for 4 years from now without affecting the start date and end date of this event. But what happens is the start date and end date changes magically to +3 in this case in other cases +15 years from now, as shown in the image below:
Can you confirm either if there is something I am misunderstanding or, if you are able to replicate the problem yourselves in this environment? Your own test event Event 1 for instance looks fine.

MemberGreat, thanks (credentials removed).
Barry
MemberExcellent 🙂

Member(I’m going to move this across to the Events Calendar PRO forum as I don’t think it really relates to WooTickets specifically.)
Regarding the header row between each event, I’m not quite sure what you are picturing but essentially you have complete freedom to customize all of the views/templates.
Barry
MemberI don’t believe there are any view files that share the same name (between Events Calendar PRO and The Events Calendar), but if there are the PRO version probably overwrites the core equivalent.

MemberBefore I login, can you confirm this is a test/staging installation and that we have your permission (and it is safe to):
- Change settings
- Deactivate and activate plugins
- Change the theme
- Create and edit posts, etc

MemberHi Charlotte,
Unfortunately there isn’t a great deal more I can offer up here – it definitely sounds like the theme is the issue, yet it works perfectly for me when I test it.
So, it’s possible that this is either due to a specific setting with your theme or possibly an Events Calendar setting relating to your theme (have you played around with the Events > Settings > Template page and the default events template setting in particular?).
Please do report back if you discover the solution, however from our end I’m not sure there is much more we can do, unfortunately.

MemberHi tremlayly,
That’s a mistake and I’ll make a note to have it corrected – thanks 🙂
The correct directory is indeed events-calendar-pro/views.
Barry
MemberHi Jean-Philippe,
Currently there is no such way built-in, but potentially you could create that shortcode yourself.
You can also include the template used to display the calendar grid which may help – depending on your exact requirements of course 🙂

MemberIt came to my mind as well it maybe a database corruption, writing or retrieving issue.
I tend to think it might be something like this; I had asked one of my colleagues to try and replicate this and shye could not either.
Are you able to create a fresh installation (so there is no trace of previous database entries) in the same or a duplicate hosting environment and see if the problem occurs there – starting with only a default theme and no other plugins, then building up to a duplicate in terms of installed components?
