MemberThanks Jenna: Ann Marie hopefully that’s of some help here – if not, and you still need help on this one, feel free to update with the result of those troubleshooting steps π
April 2, 2013 at 1:20 pm in reply to: Invalid Country Code when adding new event to Eventbridge via WordPress (Canada) #44670Barry
MemberI’m not able to offer an explanation … that address works for me – this is a screenshot of the settings I entered (just in case it happens that you are populating the fields in a different order or something) – and there was no issue with the country code.
I’m guessing your fairly at home working with code since you patched it yourself – are you able to share what the actual value of the $country_code variable is when returned by Events_Ticket_PRO::get_country_code()?
Barry
MemberExcellent, glad you’re all sorted here – I’ll close this thread now but if this crops again/if there’s anything else please just create new posts as needed π

Sorry to hear this is affecting you Geoff – we’re actually aware of it and are working on a fix for what will hopefully be the next version.

MemberNo problem at all π

MemberI don’t believe it will be an option in the next release – but you could definitely request it (or add your voice to an existing request if there is one) over on Uservoice.
April 2, 2013 at 11:06 am in reply to: Updating from Events Calendar Pro 1.3 to version 2.0.11 #44644Barry
MemberJust for clarity, does this mean if we are running v2.09 of the events calendar we can perform the recommended update from our WP plugin dashboard to v2.0.11 and not run into any problems or lose anything (so long as we didnβt modify any code from the plugin previously), yes?
We can’t offer any cast-iron guarantees here, but I wouldn’t anticipate any problems especially if you have not made any customizations. However, as always the best procedure is to back-up (and know how to restore that back-up) and ideally test things out in a staging or development area first of all.
Furthermore, weβre also using FB Events v1.0.2β¦.. I see there is an update available now that should fix the timezone issues weβve had
The best thing here would be to post in the Facebook forum – our expert for that particular add-on will then be able to help you out with this question π

MemberHi jayc: I’m not 100% sure what you mean … which variable?
Barry
MemberIt’s just not an option I’m afraid. WooTickets isn’t set up to deal with product variants.
Barry
MemberDo you mean our tutorial is difficult to follow? We’re definitely open to feedback there.
Realistically though there is a limit to how much support we can offer for individual themes. If you get stuck anywhere you can post in the forum and we’ll clarify if we can – and remember that you may also be able to make use of the theme vendor’s (Studiopress’s) own support channels, too.
Barry
MemberThere are a couple of ways you might approach this, but the easiest is probably to tweak the default events template so it matches the look and feel of your theme.
I can’t make any promises, but if you send a copy of your theme across (FAO Barry [email protected]) then I’ll take a look and see if any quick fixes jump out at me π
Barry
MemberA good strategy is probably to find a theme that meets your requirements and test it out. If it’s a premium theme and you can’t test it without purchasing it you could always search both our and the theme vendor’s forums to find any notes of incompatibility.
In many cases though a few simple CSS tweaks are all that is required to solve problems.

MemberExcellent π
Barry
MemberNo worries – but, yes, the plan is to include an organizer view in 3.0.

MemberHmm, the bit you added about your key’s expiry date … you’ve got me wondering if perhaps you are confusing your Modern Tribe license key – which you’ll find on this page – with your Eventbrite API key which is quite different and you can normally find by logging into eventbrite.com and navigating to Account > API User Key > Your API User Key.
The reason I’m wondering this is because (as far as I am aware) Eventbrite does not provide an expiry date for its API keys.
If you haven’t already done so, can I ask you to take a look at our New User Primer for Eventbrite and in particular the information in the following section?
Installing & verifying your Eventbrite Tickets license key
Thanks!
