Our Eventbrite add-on wasn’t built to do this and a quick test suggests, unfortunately, that the additional item information does not come across.

    Hi Codebloo,

This is definitely a possibility but it’s not something that our Eventbrite or WooTickets add-ons facilitate out of the box and it would certainly require some custom development (a good working knowledge of how WooCommerce ticks under the hood would be important here, if you were thinking of building this sort of thing on top of WooTickts) to bring about what you are after.

Hi Ken – I’ll move this across to the Community Events forum so that our expert for that plugin can help. Standby! 🙂

There’s no update: this potentially may be added to a future release (which is why it’s good to hear about possible use cases) but we have no firm plans to do so at this time.

    Hi Ragots,

Did you happen across this thread where Will detailed a solution that sounds pretty similar to what you are after here?

Can you link to the modification you are referring to?

Hi Randall, I’m not sure why that would be. Can you try running through our standard troubleshooting steps?

    • Please ensure that your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date and in-synch … for instance if you are using The Events Calendar 2.0.11 you must also use Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11
    • Deactivate all other plugins and change your theme to a default, unmodified one such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve
    • Now test to see if the problem still exists
    • If the problem has been solved by these steps, start reactivating everything one-at-a-time, testing at each point to see if the issue has returned
    • If the issue does return, take note of whichever plugin (or theme) you reactivated immediately before it started again – it’s likely there is a conflict with this item

    Hi Cliff.

We need to add a few CSS rules to counter some of the styles set up by your theme. There are a couple of different ways you might do this, including adding some new rules to your theme’s stylesheet, however the best way is probably to set up a custom events.css file.

    Please see:

The basic idea though is to copy events.css from the-events-calendar/resources/events.css and place your copy in an events directory within your theme:

    wp-content/themes/YOUR-THEME/events/events.css

Then add some new rules to the bottom of that stylesheet. In the first instance you could try adding these rules. I hope that helps!

    Hi Wes,

Certainly do let us know if you discover anything further. For my own part I tried to recreate this and so long as the venue address was a valid Canadian address $country_code is properly set to CA so I’m not quite sure what’s going on in your case … are you able to share the address data for affected venues?

Using the same ID you provided I was able to import the event without any issues (as a confidence check I have included the name of event in a private message, below).

That rather indicates that the problem is specific to your installation … before we go any further can you confirm that you’ve set up your Eventbrite key from within your user profile correctly?

Definitely – UserVoice is a great tool and we try to scan it as often as possible.

For the benefit of anyone else who is interested … when you are in the event editor and have set up some tickets (with WooTickets of course) there is an option to Edit in WooCommerce.

This takes you to the WooCommerce product editor for that ticket. In the Publish meta box (which contains the big blue Update or Publish button) you should see a catalog visibility setting which you can adjust to meet your needs.
