    Hola Chris,

    Thanks for reporting that!

Did you get this on a local dev site or on a live one? Would it be possible to take a look at it? Also, what version of the plugins are you using? (System information would be best.)

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

Thanks for using the Events Calendar.

Here on the translations forum, we usually do not provide technical support.

I would ask that you take any technical support questions across to our wordpress.org forum – our staff scan it periodically and other community members may also be able to help out.

    Hello again Chris,

This sounds like a good idea. I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and make a suggestion there. If it collects enough votes than it has a high chance of making it into the core.

Until then, if you are using WooCommerce, you can go to the products and edit the ticket there. You can set the tax status manually if needed, but I guess you knew that already.

We would be super happy to see your hack, and I’m sure other users will be able to make use of it too.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Could you please share your system information as I would need to know your settings for this. Thanks! https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Also, can you send me some screenshots of what the end user sees / where the faulty amount shows up?

    Thanks! I’ll be here waiting.

    Cheers,

    Hi wma333,

Happy to hear that the roll-back helped. I see you are using Divi, I’m a big fan of that theme. Lately we had some reports of Divi updates jumbling sites, unfortunately.

Can you let me know which version was / is working and to which one you updated to that caused the issue. I would like to test this, so if someone else comes with the question I can give them some guidelines, as well as to you if I find something.

Meanwhile you can contact Elegant Themes with the issue so they can correct it with the next release.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Sally,

I re-checked you site and it seems there are still mismatching version numbers for our plugins (TEC and EC Pro).

While I try to look into this, please update your plugins to the latest versions and re-check the issue.

    Thanks,
    Andras

Important question: did you change the main domain name? In case yes, then you will need to disconnect your license key for sure on the License keys page.

    Hello again,

Yes, the clue is in the “some”.

You can try to change how excerpts are done either with a plugin like this or with some custom coding like this.

There are surely some other solutions out there, try a search like “preserve html tags in wordpress excerpt”.

Note, that these have not been tested by us, so I cannot guarantee that they will work, nor do we provide support for them.

Let me know if this solves your issue.

    Cheers,

    Hi Robert,

I tested this on a development site and I couldn’t reproduce the issue. These are the steps I took:

    1. Create a new WP install and add TEC and EC Pro plugins
    2. Convert the site to multisite with sub-directories based on this guide: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/wordpress-multisite-masterclass-activation-configuration/
    3. Activate calendar plugins. Add Pro license key, which showed valid.
    4. Change multisite setup from sub-directories to subdomains based on this guide: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/change-multisite-sub-directories-sub-domains/
    5. Modify some DNS settings for the subdomains to work.
    6. Check license key under Network Admin > Settings > Events Settings > Licenses tab and the license still showed valid.

Note: I didn’t have to remove or disconnect the license key.

So it seems to have worked without issues for me. Can you check the steps I did and compare if you did something different? Maybe that will help us narrow down the issue at hand.

    Thanks and cheers,

    Andras

    Hey Jim,

Thanks for your cooperation so far. I know this is an upsetting issue. We are working on it with the invaluable help of our users like yourself.

I ask for a bit of patience while I will try to pull in an extra set of eyes to look at this.

    Thanks for hanging in there!

    Hi Damian,

We do (did) have a custom snippet that would allow editing the attendee info, however I tested that before I wrote to you and it gave me a fatal error on activation. That is why I didn’t dare to share it with you. I talked with the snippet dev and he said it should still work.

You should be able to get the snippet from here and use that as a base for now:

    https://slack-files.com/T0258N5TN-F0UC3DURE-609f1a6719

I understand your request as that being a feature in our plugins. We get a lot of different feature requests and it is difficult to develop all or even to prioritize which one would be the best / nest.

If you think that is something you would like I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

I hope the above helps. Let me know if you need any more info.

    Cheers,

    Andras

    Hey Roger,

Thanks for reaching out with your question.

I’m afraid that is not possible at the moment. It might be doable with some custom coding but that is unfortunately beyond the scope of our support.

You could reach out to these guys, developers in the community. They might be able to help you with this:

If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
