KeymasterHi nnyorker,
Thanks for checking that. I will pull in an extra set of eyes to take a look at this as well. Please hang in there. I’ll be in touch as soon as I have any info.
Have a great weekend!

KeymasterHi Fumihiko,
Thanks for sharing the urls.
Event Aggregator can import from both pages and groups, it shouldn’t be an issue.
Please give me some time while I investigate the urls and the issue. Thanks!
Cheers and have a great weekend,

KeymasterHello Alton,
I’m super happy to hear that your list issue is fixed! It is a mighty fine looking site you have there!
It’s a pity that your (ex-)developer cannot be reached, such a shame.
Unfortunately we don’t take on customization requests like that. We do client work, but the budget for those projects usually starts around 20k. Sorry.
However, I can share with you a list of developers from the community who could help you out with this.

I believe a list view like that could be done with template override. Here’s some documentation for that as well, just in case:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/template-overview/I hope this helps! Is there anything else I can support you with regarding this topic?

KeymasterHello Mike,
Thanks for sharing that. I don’t see anything that should be concerning in your setup.
All there is left is to narrow it down to which are the plugins that are conflicting with each other. Once you have that, let me know and I’ll see if we can do something about that. It is also worth reaching out to the other plugin developers then.
Waiting for your results.
Cheers,

KeymasterOne of the developers was kind enough to share the below:
If you copy this line into your theme’s function.php file, then it should deactivate Event Aggregator completely.
add_filter( 'tribe_aggregator_should_load', '__return_false' );
Let me know if that does the trick.Note, that a proper fix will come in any case in the next maintenance release, so then you will not need this any more.

KeymasterSalut Sascha,
Thanks for reaching out!
I’m sorry, unfortunately I have no clue about this.
You can try updating the .po file from the .pot. If you are using PoEdit, the open your .po file and in the Catalog menu you should find an “Update from POT” options. Maybe the .po is out of date.
In case the .pot is out of date, then open that with PoEdit and choose Catalog > Update from sources.
I hope that will help fix the issue. If not, then the WooGuys are still your best bet.

KeymasterHello Bob,
Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums! I’m sorry about this issue you are having.
I have checked you page with web developer tools and when I click on January or the search button I get an error message in the console:
<span class=”objectBox objectBox-string “>”NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error – http://www.bcm-institute.org/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php”</span>
This is not really a plugin specific issue. Here’s an article that should help you troubleshoot this:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/
Also what you might want to try is deactivating all plugins except for the calendar ones, and switching to a default theme like twentysixteen and check if the issue still exists.
Please make sure that your plugins, theme and WordPress is up to date, and if the issue still exists then please share with me your system information as well.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHello again Kim,
In the meantime I also talked to one of our developers and it looks like there is a bug involved in the case. I just opened a high priority internal bug ticket for this and a fix should come in the next maintenance release. If all goes according to plan, this will happen still before Christmas.
Thanks for your patience!
I’ll set this thread to “pending fix” status. It will still be open and reply, and we will definitely update it once the fix is out. I would still be grateful if you could clarify the above question. Thanks!
In case you have further questions regarding this topic, then please let me know.
If you encounter another bug or have a question regarding a different topic, then I kindly ask you to open a separate thread for that to keep things clean here.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHello Kim,
Thanks for using our plugins and for reaching out with your issues. I’m sorry that our plugins seem to have such an impact on your sites performance. Let me try to help you solve them.
You say:
We recently activated and then disabled Event Aggregator on our site
Could you please clarify what you mean by “disabled EA”?
Event Aggregator is part of The Events Calendar plugin. Basically the only way to make it stop working is to remove the Event Aggregator license key from Events > Settings > Licenses. When the license key is not entered, it shouldn’t be making any calls to ea.theeventscalendar.com.
Thanks for clarifying.
I’ve attached a screenshot of what happens to the performance when I turn off the Events Calendar plugins.
If this is the case then we might have a bug on our hands. Would it be possible to run a test in a way that only The Events Calendar plugin is active with a default theme like twentysixteen, nothing else, then deactivate the plugin? This would allow us to see if the plugin in itself has such an impact on the server.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi Douglas,
I’m happy to hear that the hotfix solved the issue. One down.
Thanks for opening a new thread with the new issue. It helps us immensely to keep things clean here. Much appreciated.
I am going to close this ticket, and as you already did, if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic in the forum and we will help you out.

KeymasterHello Luca,
Hey, thanks for reaching out to us with your questions. Let me answer them for you to help you decide whether our solution would be the best for your project.
In general EC Pro and ET+ should be able to do what you need, but you need to consider the following limitation: although ET+ supports creating tickets for events, and as many tickets as you want, but it doesn’t support tickets for recurring events.
To translate that :), you can create a ticket for a recurring event, but that will be the same ticket for all recurrences, there is no distinction.
What you still can do: you can set up an extra meta field (attendee meta) for the ticket and use radio buttons or a dropdown list with the event dates (needs to be filled manually), and make the buyer choose one. Here’s a screenshot on how that approx. would look like: https://cloudup.com/cHifJNyZEx2
Courses should be listed:
– as it normally happens for products inside the shop (categories and relavant courses)This is possible with a bit of tweaking. Here’s an article that should help you with it:
– as a calendar, from which the studend may click on to go to the single course/product page/event page and use the “Add to cart” functionality.
This is a core functionality, so you’ll have this with ET+. 🙂
So it is possible to do what you want with a bit of limitation and a bit of tweaking. Also, we have a list of developers who would be able to help you out with customization and tweaking if you need the extra help.
And, although I’m not too familiar with it, you should take a look at Sensei, a plugin from the WooCommerce guys that is offering something similar that what you are looking for.
I hope this answers your questions. If you have more, don’t hold yourself back. 🙂 I’d be happy to answer them for you to the best of my knowledge. 🙂
Cheers,

KeymasterHey, thanks for getting back with that so quickly and clarifying the no changes. We are aware of this import issue and the devs are investigation, and the more info we have the better.
On the schedules imports screenshot, basically a pic of how that url import is set up. Here’s an example: https://cloudup.com/c1SDAtPTClt
1) how do I find the list of facebook pages I am importing?
Yeah, this is how Facebook Events used to work. Unfortunately in Event Aggregator there is no such list. You can look at your scheduled imports under Events > Import > Scheduled Imports tab, but at the moment there is no window / box where you would have all urls listed.
2) how can I cancel an import? The “import is currently in progress” has been going for weeks with no stop.
We are also aware of this glitch. Thankfully this is only a visual glitch, the import in progress is most probably already done, so no need to worry about this. A fix for this glitch is coming in the next Maintenance Release.
Thanks again for all the info! I’ll forward it to the developers.
Please hang in there until the fix arrives.
I’m going to set this thread to “pending fix” status, but it’s still open, and we will update it when the fix is released.
Meanwhile if you encounter any other bugs or issues, then please open a new thread, to keep things clean.
Thanks and cheers,
AndrasAndras
