    Hello Scott,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for this issue.

While we investigate, can you check and confirm that this also happens when you have only the calendar plugins active with a default theme like twentysixteen?

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

    Ah, these clients… 😉

I have updated the snippet, here it is again. Now in month view it’s going to jump to the month you set in line 28. Otherwise the first upcoming event.

    Does this solve it?

    Hello Rachel,

    Awesome job on that.

I tweaked the code a bit and now it should show the start date & time as well on the cart page. Copy the code from here:

Does this give you the result you need? Let me know.

    Hello Todd,

Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!

I’m sorry you are having an issue with events in more languages. Let’s try to get to the bottom of this.

I have tested this on my test site and so far all went well with the most recent versions of WordPress (4.7.2), WPML (3.6.3) and our plugins (4.4.2).

These are the steps I took:

    • Create a recurring event in English. Recurring daily for 3 days. Save
    • Go to event list, switch to 2nd lang (German), create a recurring event, different date, daily for 3 days. Save
    • Go to event list, switch to 3rd lang (Swedish), create a recurring event, different date, daily for 3 days. Save
    • Check on the front end on all 3 language versions. All three languages properly showed all the instances of the recurring events in the month view.

Are you taking similar steps or is there something totally different in the way you do it?

Also, I would recommend you to do a full backup of your site and update WordPress and your plugins so you are on the latest versions.

Let me know if that helps.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Ben,

I’m soooooooooo sorry about the name mixup. I don’t even know why I put Stacey there. 🙂 I guess that was in a previous thread…

Anyhow… somehow I cannot get your system information, please be so kind and copy-paste it in here in a private reply. You can find it under Events > Help.

I totally understand you being careful with switching themes. In this case it would be great if you could set up a test / staging site where you can run some tests without affecting your live site. Would that be possible?

Can you share with me a URL where the issue is visible?

Are you using the free version of the theme or the pro?

Also, how is your child theme created? Do you call in the style.css with an @ command in the child theme? Or do you enqueue them in your functions.php file?

    Thanks,
    Andras

    Hey Robert,

Thanks for sharing that. One of our developers is looking into that GoDaddy issue and if all goes well (keeping fingers crossed) it should be fixed with the next maintenance release by the end of the month.

Could you share with me a screenshot of your attendee table to see the issue? Do you get any information there at all, or a totally blank table?

Also, can you share with me the URL of an event that produces this issue? I’d like to take a look.

    Thanks,
    Andras

    Hi again Lily,

I’m also not quite sure which script that can be. I’ll ask the team if someone knows, but cannot promise anything.

In case you need professional help with this, here is a list of developers who are well known in the community. They might be able to help you out as well:

    Hi Matt,

Although you are in doubt, as a first I would still recommend you to update to the latest version of our plugins, if you didn’t do so yet. We in general provide support for the latest version, and wouldn’t want to spend your valuable time on chasing an issue which might have been fixed meanwhile. Thanks!

It would be great to know when exactly the performance issues kick in. Without knowing that it is pretty difficult to do anything.

Also it would be great to see if you are getting the same performance issues if you deactivate all other plugins, leave only the calendar ones active, and switch to a default theme like twentysixteen. I understand that this can be difficult with a live site. Usually in these occasions we recommend setting up a test / staging site where it is possible to play around easily without affecting the live site.

Could you check these and let me know the results?

Thank and I’m looking forward to solving this with you.

    Cheers,

    Hello Teresa,

Thanks for using our plugins and for reaching out to us. I’m sorry about this issue you are having.

Do I understand correctly that the event disappears from the category view before the beginning of the event (about 15 minutes before)?

Does it disappear from both category pages (“trio-events/outer-banks-live-music/” and “trio-events/” as well)?

This happens to all events every day?

Thanks for clarifying that for me and looking forward to solving this with you.

    Cheers,

    Hey Mark,

As far as I know standard WP functions such as ‘get_term_link()’ work just fine with our categories. So far there is no guidance for the navxt plugin.

Though we are limited on supporting customizations, if you could explain in detail what you are trying to achieve, and what is the result you are actually getting, I might be able to give you some pointers which way to go forward. If you can share some screenshots that will be even more helpful.

    Cheers,
    Andras

That is a great question, Christine!

Indeed, if you modify the quoted single-event.php that will influence the looks of the other Event List Widgets as well. But it will not influence the single event page, as that uses a different template.

I will ask around if there is an easy way to create a new widget instance, so you can have 2 different ones, if you’d like.

in reply to: Same issue with photos overlapping eachother after update #1238605

    Hey Roger,

I appreciate the offer! However, our current policy is not to accept logins or to log in to customer servers/WordPress installations.

If you can send me a link to the page or a screenshot / screencast, that would be great.

Meanwhile I also tested the photo view inside-out and it looks like we have a generic issue, where the events are somewhat overlapping on the first pageload, but stay in their own columns. And with a page reload or a window resize everything gets fixed. Could you please check if this is the case with you as well?

    Thanks,
    Andras
