    Hey Nicolas,

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help you with this issue. For that I would need to take a look at your site. Can you set up a live staging site somewhere?

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Cameron,

I tested this scenario and all works fine. The stock, as the message also indicates, needs to be adjusted manually. Note, you can only adjust the stock available for an event, you cannot modify the number of tickets / RSVPs sold.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Joachim,

Thanks for getting back to us on the topic.

Regarding the error log, that’s nothing to worry about. It is just a log entry indicating successful initialization, which happens with every request. It’s not an indication of anything being wrong.

Good to hear that the script freezing doesn’t happen on the test site. This indicates that there is something on the live site, which is causing the freeze issue.

I saw in the other thread that you went through a full conflict test, deactivating all and switching to twe12, and that didn’t change anything.

Does this script freeze happen when you try to add a new event? When you edit a single event? Or when you edit a recurring event? If recurring event, was it created in the past with an earlier version of our plugins? Does it happen with newly created recurring events?

The same problem didn’t occur this way but is still occurring on the main page.

What are you exactly referring to here? I didn’t manage to find anything in the other thread related to this.  Thanks for clarifying.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello Josep,

Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!

I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue. Let me try to help you with this.

Could you please share with me your full system information based on this guide? Thanks!

Can you also share with me a direct url to the page where this is happening? I haven’t been able to find that on your site.

I have checked this on my local install with the latest versions of our plugins and of WPML and language switching and paging the months worked fine for me, so far. So let’s see what we find.

    Hello Troy,

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

I’m really sorry that you are having this hanging script issue. Let me try to help you solve that.

To be able to better support you, could you please share your system information with me?
Here’s a handy guide how you can do that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Also, it would be great if you could share with me your hosting details: where is the site hosted, what package you have, is it shared hosting or dedicated, what are the settings (memory, execution time etc.).

Thanks and looking forward to helping you with this.

When you go to Events > Import > Scheduled imports then hover over one and in the list of actions below the title you will see “Run now”. Click on that and the import will start within a few seconds.

    Looks like this.

The other option is going to Events > Import > New import and simply running it there, but if you have the url already set up as a scheduled one, then the previous option is faster.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Brian,

Thanks for the extra details and the screenshot. I checked our log of bugs, and this has been discovered not too long ago. As you described, if an attendee meta field is renamed, then any data collected under the old field names becomes non-exportable.

At the moment we are not aware of any workarounds for this issue, I’m sorry.

I will add your thread to the bugticket to give it more push. Also, I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.

If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll be happy to help.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Reece ,

We are unfortunately unable to provide support through our Pre-Sales forum channel, but you can head over to The Events Calendar WordPress.org support forums for assistance and answers.

If you have purchased any premium plugin from us, you can log into your account and get assistance through the premium forums. If you need to reset your password, you can do so here. This will send an email to the account used when you initially registered for the support forums.

To get you started on your question though, no, unfortunately that is not possible. You will need to delete and then re-create it from the TEC side, or if you have our Eventbrite plugin, then you can possible import it through Events > Legacy import > Eventbrite.

Thanks for understanding and good luck resolving your issue. Have a good day!

    Cheers,
    Andras

I would also recommend updating all our plugins to the latest versions to make sure they are fully compatible with each other. We have just published new releases today. (More about that here.)

For the plugins to work you will need all three for them active: The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO and The Events Calendar: Community Events. (They are all dependent on The Events Calendar, without that none of them will work.)

Once that’s done we can start looking at the issues deeper.

    Hi Miroslav,

Hvala for getting in touch. 🙂

I’m sorry you are having this search issue when using a shortcode. I checked your site and there is a javascript error coming up when hitting on search.

Could you please run a test for conflicts and see if maybe that helps? Let me know what you find.

Meanwhile I will also run some test, might be we have a bug here.

    Cheers,
    Andras

Are you using the latest versions of our plugins?

Does this happen with new events or also when you edit an older event?

Thanks for sharing these with me. Looking forward to helping you solve this.

    Hello Cameron,

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

That is a great discovery, thank you for sharing that with us! Based on your description I will test this as well and if an issue exists I will file a bugticket for this.

I noticed the popup after moving a ticket that says I will have to manually change the RSVP/Ticket number, however, I see no place to do this.

This you can adjust at the ticket itself. Open the event for editing, then go and edit the ticket / rsvp and adjust the stock up or down as needed.

Does this help? Let me know.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello Brian,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

The meta fields – and most things in WordPress – are usually referenced by their ID in the database, and that also goes for previously saved data as well.

Let’s say you create a metafield with saying “First name” and it gets the ID=10 in the database. You sell tickets, for the metafield they connect to ID 10 and get “First name” as the result.

If you change the label of the meta field, the ID will still remain 10, but the label will now say “Favorite color”. So if you sold tickets previously where you had “First name” now you will have for example “Favorite color: John”.

If this is was a post, then the old version would be floating around as a revision, but since this is a meta field and it’s saved in the wp_postmeta table it doesn’t have revisions.

I’m sorry if this is not the response you were expecting. Let me know if I can help you any further.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello Barbara,

Thanks for getting in touch with your request.

Unfortunately we do not provide support for customization requests, however I can share with you a list of freelancers from the community who should be able to help you out with that. They are well know in the community and not affiliated with us.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Cheers,
    Andras
