    Hello James T,

Thanks for reaching out to us with your great question!

That is absolutely possible without much complication.

WordPress users who have the Editor role can add events to the calendar but they don’t have access to the settings of The Events Calendar / Events Calendar PRO.

I hope this answers your question. Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Cheers,
    Andras

Hey John, thanks for your patience!

I checked with the team and they confirmed, this is a bug.

Good news is the fix is on the way! The code is waiting for QA and once is passes the tests it will be released. I’d say it will come with the next maintenance release, but cannot guarantee that just yet.

It would help us in the testing if could you share a database dump with us. Would that be OK with you? If you can, that is awesome. If you cannot, then no worries. 🙂

I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.

If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll be happy to help you out.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

Could you possibly share a database dump with us? That would help us in the testing. Best would be if you could share it via some cloud storage service and share the link in a private reply. If you can, that is awesome. If you cannot, then no worries.

    Hello Sam,

Thanks for reaching out and reporting those.

I would like to ask for some more information so we can better investigate these issues.

Called by Tribe__Events__Aggregator__Errors->remove_error_comments_from_wp_counts running on the WP dashboard is taking over 2 seconds to run.

Does this happen on every page / pageload? Or only on specific pages? Which ones?

Does this one also disappear when you deactivate Event Tickets Plus?

Also, the following query is run 4 times on each event page on the front end and is taking over 4 seconds for each:

Does this run also on month view, list view etc. or only on the single event pages?

Is this part the same or different for the different products:

    WHERE (meta_key = '_product_id'
    AND meta_value = 138255

Thanks for clarifying these for me.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello Brett,

Thanks for reaching out to us with your question!

What you are looking for is not possible out of the box with our plugins.

It might be possible with some custom development, but I cannot guarantee that. Maybe showing / hiding sections of the filterbar with CSS? Maybe with some jQuery.

If you need help in developing a customization for this, then I can recommend you this list of freelancers who could help you out.

Does this help to get you started on this?

    Hello Laurence,

Thanks for reaching out! I can help you with your question.

If you would like to cancel your license and you are still within the 30-day period then please send a refund request through the form on this page. Then my colleagues will process it as soon as possible.

Please note, that based on our support policy if you cancel your license / don’t have a valid license, beside not being eligible for premium support, you will also not receive updates to Events Calendar PRO.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello Stephan,

Thanks for hanging in there. I talked with some colleagues and tested things up and down, unfortunately with no good results.

Mac preview and a preview in a browser shows the ticket. But whenever it is saved and opened with a PDF viewer (tested with Acrobat Pro and Adobe Reader) then the result is what you have described.

It looks like that DK PDF is the one causing this when creating the PDF. I suggest you to get in touch with the developer of that plugin to see if he can fix it.

I will leave this topic open for a while so you can post any other findings you have or maybe other users have some more ideas.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Cary,

Thanks for checking that and reporting back. I also did some investigation and it looks like that happens when you have the The Events Calendar: Advance Mini Calendar Widget activated. When that was not active I did not get the message.

And I only get it on the month view of the calendar. I didn’t get it on any other page.

I will log this bug so our developers can take a look at it and get a fix out with the next round of updates for the extensions.

I believe this is not because of the HIPAA-compliance at all.

I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.

If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll be happy to help you out.

    Thanks and cheers,

    Hello Cary,

Thanks for using our plugins and for reaching out to us!

I’m sorry about this issue you are experiencing!

I tested this on my development site and everything was working fine.

Where do you see this error message? Front-end, back-end, error log… ?

Apart from the error message is there anything else that is broken?

Does it have an impact on the usability of the site?

Can you possible share a screenshot of the page where you see this message?

    Thanks and cheers,

in reply to: Is Event Aggregator a Free Plugin? #1341419
    Andras
    Keymaster

    Hello Jason,

Thanks for reaching out to us! Great question you have there.

Event Aggregator is a service for importing events to your calendar.

It is not a separate plugin, it comes together with The Events Calendar, however, in order to be able to access its full functionality you do need to purchase a license. Once you have the license, enter the license key under Events > Settings > Licenses, wait for the server message that appears below the textbox for the license key, and once it appears, hit the save button a bit below.

I hope this explains. Let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello Thomas!

Thanks for reaching out! I checked the status of the issue. At the moment there is no news I can share with you, so far there was no progress on this as priority was given to some more pressing bugs.

The other thread is set to pending fix status, which means you can still post there followup questions there, or ping us if you’d like to. And of course we will post an update in that thread once a fix is released.

I’m going to close this thread to keep things cleaner in the forums. If anything, you can reach out to us in the original thread.

    Cheers,
    Andras
