MemberHey Christian!
Thanks for following up with this and confirming it is indeed a conflict with Yoast.
I can see you are using an older version of Yoast plugin. Could you please try updating to the latest version and see if any difference?
We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out and make all plugins, theme and WordPress core updates without disrupting the live site.
Please let me know about it.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Tim!
The red icon indicates there was an error. By hovering over the icon you’ll get the exact error message for it. Please let us know the error message you are getting.
Also, what happens if you manually run one of those imports? does it fail again?
Let me know about it.
Thanks,

MemberHi Konstantin!
Thanks for following up with this and for the suggestion about that Maps API 🙂
It surely is an interesting option to have. I encourage you to post it as a new feature idea for our plugins in our User Voice here > https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas.
That way, other users can vote for it and we’ll consider it for a future implementation of our plugins.
Let me know if you need help with it.
Best,

MemberHi Ilkka!
I can totally understand what you are trying to accomplish there. Thanks for the detailed explanation.
This is a bit out my knowledge and I want to make sure to not misguide you here, so I will reach out to the team to have a second opinion and will get back to you as soon as I have something.
Please hang in there.
Thanks,

January 8, 2018 at 4:33 am in reply to: Importing via csv / Updating via csv import / series of events #1420298Victor
MemberHi Saskia!
Thanks for following up with this. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble managing your events. Let me try to help you with that.
The slowdown in performance for your site’s backend could relate to a variety of variables. Recurring events do take some more time to load, but if you are experiencing a significant difference in the time it takes to load a particular recurring event, please let us know about it and share a screenshot of the recurring settings as well as a link to it.
The SKU field for example is not being offered by the import tool, despite explanation in above mentioned info pages.
I have just tested the ticket imports via CSV and it shows the SKU as a field to import. If this is not showing up for you it could be a conflict somehow, in which case I’d recommend going through the testing for conflicts guide. If the issue still persist, please open a new topic for this so we can help you out with the troubleshooting.
WHEN will recurring events be fully implemented?
WHEN will import be available for recurring events?
WHEN will tickets be supported as they should by recurring events? We are in the process of thinking new ways to implement recurring events so that they can support recurring tickets, but at the moment, we don’t have an estimate for when this feature will be available. In the meantime, the recommended process would be to break the event out of its series and then create tickets for it.
Importing recurring events is not something that is currently under development, but I could find this as a feature request in our User Voice > https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/17434264-add-csv-recurring-import-to-aggregator. I suggest you add your vote to it so it can be taken into account as a new functionality.
WHEN will the attendee info be saved to database in their own datasets
I’m not aware of such change to be made in Event Tickets. Do you think this is something that will improve how the attendee info is handled and saved in the database? Please let us know more about it.
Let me know how that goes and if you have other questions.
Best,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Michele!
Thanks for clearing that out.
That could be a theme or plugin conflict, so to narrow the problem down please go through the steps provided in the testing for conflicts guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let us know what you find in the process.
We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out and make all plugins, theme and WordPress core updates without disrupting the live site.
If you see no difference in those conditions, then we’ll need to do some deeper troubleshooting
Let me know how that goes.
Thanks,

MemberHey Chris!
That’s a great option too! Thanks for following up to share the snippet so other users can make use of it.
I’ll close this now, but feel free to open a new topic if anything comes up and we’ll be happy to help.
Have a good weekend!

MemberHi Uwe!
Indeed, the integration with ACF frontend custom fields is a bit tricky.
Using additional fields, on the other hand, is a great option, but hiding the fields in the frontend via CSS might not be straight forward.
I’d suggest you make a template override of the additional-fields.php template file located at /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/modules/meta and modify the fields loop to prevent the output of a specific field.
I hope that helps achieve what you are looking for.

MemberHi Clara!
I’m sorry you are experiencing that issue. Let me help you with the troubleshooting.
First, Could you please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ? We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.
This can be related to a theme or plugin conflict, so to narrow the problem down please go through the steps provided in the testing for conflicts guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let us know what you find in the process.
If the issue persists after switching to a default theme and with only our plugins activated, then please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG. This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try reproducing the issue a few times, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.
Finally, could you please see if there are any console errors by inspecting the page where you are having the issue with? We have an article that explains how to do that here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/
Please let us know about that.
Thanks,

MemberHi There!
Thanks for getting in touch with us. Let me help you with this topic.
By default, the map view displays the map before the tribe bar as you can see in our demo site > https://wpshindig.com/events/map/
You can modify where the map gets displayed by customizing the templates. We have a great article that explains how you can do that here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

MemberHi Konstantin!
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, I have been able to reproduce the same issue you are having in my own installation.
I have created a bug report so it can be addressed in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins. I will set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report, so we can let you know once a fix is shipped.
Is your intention to remove all the links to Google maps for your site or just some venues? Please let me know so I can see if there is a workaround for this in the meantime.
We apologise for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience.
Thanks,

MemberHi Rob!
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
We do have a great article that introduces The Events Calendar REST API here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/introduction-events-calendar-rest-api/
You will find several examples of how to interact with it in there.
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

MemberHi Ilkka!
Thanks for reaching out! Let me try to help you with this topic.
The _tribe_ticket_capacity meta_key was introduced in Event Tickets 4.6 and from what I am aware, it can be associated with both tickets and events.
The _tribe_ticket_global_stock_level meta_key is associated with the event and sets the global stock for that event that can be shared between multiple tickets.
And the _tribe_ticket_use_global_stock is also associated with the event and is a boolean value.
Do note that those meta_keys will only be present for the events that have tickets assigned, and are generated as a consequence of tickets creation.
Does this help achieve what you are looking for?
Please also note that it’s not recommended to modify any field via a mysql query, unless of course, you know exactly the implications of doing so.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

MemberHi Chris!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.
The Return to Shop link is generated by WooCommerce in the cart-empty.php template file located at /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/cart/
You can modify that link or event remove it by making a template override of that template in your own theme (yourtheme/woocommerce/cart/cart-empty.php)
Let me point you to the following WooCommerce documentation about their template structure > https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/template-structure/
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
