    Hi again,

Awesome! I’m glad to hear that you’re making progress.

Unfortunately, there is not currently a “limit” parameter for the tribe_events shortcode. There is however, a setting that controls the number of posts per page that will show up in list view. In Events > Settings > General > “Number of events to show per page” you can set this to the number you’d like.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi again,

Were you able to successfully import the events? Did that message eventually go away?

Let me know how it went.

    Thanks,

    Hi again,

I took a look at your site. I’m assuming you are trying to fix the grey bar that goes off to the left? I wasn’t sure if that was an intentional design element.

In any case, I noticed that you have a minification plugin that is combining all of the css. Our plugins load some style separately for mobile views, and minification plugins also usually combine all of these styles together, causing display issues. Try disabling your minification plugin, or if it has the ability, disable CSS concatenation and minification just for The Events Calendar plugins.

Hope that helps! Let me know if that works for you.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help with your question.

The Eventbrite Tickets plugin will allow you to import from Eventbrite, as well as sync locally created events up to the Eventbrite website. The Event Aggregator extension is not required to do these things. We did have an issue where some things were not working properly unless you also had an Aggregator license entered, but I’ve been told that issue has been fixed with the latest versions.

When you visit the Events > Settings > APIs tab, and click “reconnect with eventbrite” what happens? Are you able to establish a connection to the service?

Also, when you go to the Imports page, do you see “Eventbrite” as an option in the dropdown for import sources? If you are only pulling in a few events a year, you can enter the Eventbrite URL and import the events that way.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I will try to help with your questions.

Regarding the naming: There generally isn’t much if any need to interact with the tickets within WooCommerce. The tickets are generated from within the event, and stock management, attendee information, and any edits would happen from within the event admin page.

Unfortunately, the ticket images and the ticket types need to be added manually on each event. I know some people have tried to create a “template event” with tickets already created to use as a “clone” with a plugin, but this doesn’t work because the tickets have their own unique ids. The tickets on every event wind up being the same batch of tickets, breaking capacity and attendee functionality.

Sorry I didn’t have better news for you on that one.

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions about this.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this problem.

This is actually a known issue that is being worked on. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a timeline for when the fix will be released. I will attach this thread to the bug ticket, and as soon as a fix is available, we will follow back up with you here to let you know.

I would suggest to disable this extension until it is updated.

Please let me know if you have any other questions about this in the meantime.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I will try to help with your questions.

The best way to change the translations would be to create a custom translation file. You can read more about this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/

Another option would be to create a custom template, and hardcode the wording you want to display. The issue with this is that it wouldn’t be able to be translated to other languages. You can learn about working with custom events templates by visiting this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

You may be able to add functionality to the search bar with some customization, but this would probably be quite involved. You might check out our Filterbar Plugin which allows you to sort the events using all kind of different metrics. Please note that this only works with the main Events Calendar, and not with calendars inserted into pages with a shortcode.

Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions about this.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help with your question.

We have a premium extension called Event Aggregator that allows you to import events from various calendar sources. To sync the same calendar across all site, you could import the events from Google Calendar, and use that to manage your events.

Another option available with Event Aggregator is to import events from another WordPress site running the events calendar. You could use the main site to manage events, and have the subsites pull events from that.

Hope that helps! please let me know if you have any additional questions about this.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi Ron,

Thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to help with your question.

There are settings that control this in Events > Settings > Tickets > “WooCommerce Support.” But unfortunately, those settings will affect all tickets, not just free tickets.

I looked at the filters that apply these settings, and it doesn’t look like you would have access to the cost data within the filter. Which means that there doesn’t seem to be a way you could modify this on a per ticket basis.

Regarding the idea of using RSVPs, are you sure this wouldn’t work for you? RSVPs have support for custom fieldsets just as tickets do. Can you explain what you mean by “we cannot use RSVP because we have Field Sets that we require participants to fill out”?

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

It seems that you are putting your license key for The Events Calendar Pro into the field for Event Aggregator. This is a completely different product, and only shows there because it is a cloud based service as opposed to a plugin that you install.

You will need to download The Events Calendar Pro from your account, install and activate on your site.

Once activated, the field for your TEC Pro key will show in the Licenses tab just below the one for Event Aggregator.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi again,

While the plugin should be compatible with Fusion Builder, we can’t guarantee or provide support for third party themes and plugins. I will say that I often see issues come up that are related to using it with our plugins, and usually it’s javascript errors that are preventing the calendar from functioning properly.

For any layout issues you have using the calendar with the Fusion Builder, you will need to reach out to them for support, or hire a developer to customize things to your liking.

I definitely can’t provide CSS code or advice for a page that I am unable to inspect in the browser.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi again,

To add the calendar to your homepage, you will need to use the “tribe_events” shortcode. You can read more about how to use this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/

    Hope that helps.

    Hi again,

You will need a new license for the Eventbrite addon.

All of our other plugins will continue working after your license expires, barring any issues caused by updates that are fixed in newer versions. But Aggregator and Eventbrite Tickets require a current license, as they both use the Aggregator server to process requests between your site and third party services.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi again,

From the second screencast, I can see that you still have other plugins activated. For troubleshooting purposes, it’s important to disable all other plugins at the same time as testing with the Twenty Seventeen theme. Make sure to also flush any caches at a site or hosting level, and check that there are no “must use” plugins enabled. I see that there is at least one for ManageWP in there. See https://codex.wordpress.org/Must_Use_Plugins

I asked the team about this, and they confirmed that our plugin doesn’t have the ability to redirect your site’s pages to Eventbrite.

Can you try testing with the above parameters and let me know how that goes?

    Thanks,
    Sky
