ParticipantHi Christian,
My apologies! I intended to provide that link in my first reply. Here you go!

ParticipantHi Jon,
Thanks for clarifying. π
This kind of request would require some theming customization. We have some resources for doing that hereΒ (I believe you’ll want to start with the modules/meta/details.php file).Β If you need to find someone to help with the customizations, we also have some tips for finding help here.
Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Shelby

ParticipantHi Mister,
Thanks for clarifying! That example helps. You can change the root of the URL through a built in setting found at:
Events>Settings>General> “Events URL slug”
Beyond that, you can set the category names to achieve a label like “baseball.”
Does that make sense?
Best,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi Stacey,
Thanks for your question, which I’m happy to answer! π
What you’re looking for is absolutely possible! In fact, you can see it over on our demo calendar site, WP Shindig. π If you’re having trouble getting it to work properly after you’ve purchased, you can post in our premium forums for help, and we’ll work with you to get things resolved.
Take care and let me know if you need any clarification on any of this!

ParticipantHey Christian,
Thanks for using our plugins!
Since you seem to be a current user of our freeΒ plugins, I recommend posting in our WordPress.org forum. Over there, we have a once a week pass for technical support like this. This Pre-Sales forum is reserved specifically for questions about the features of our plugins for users who are making decisions about which, if any, to purchase.
Let me know if I can clarify any of this!
Best,

ParticipantHi Janine,
Thanks for reaching out & for considering our plugins for your dance classes!
Unfortunately, there’s no way to issue passes, as you described, Β yet. We’re working on support for recurring events in Event Tickets plus, which will get closer to that kind of a system, and that should launch in a future release, but there’s no firm date for that, so we might not be the best fit for your needs right now.
Please let me know if you need clarification for any of this. π
Best of luck with your project!

ParticipantHi Josh,
I’d love to help you out with your question here! π
I believe you should be able to do this with our new (free) extension to add data to the WooCommerce order details!
Please let me know if you have further questions about this.
Best of luck with your project!

ParticipantHi Tim,
I’m happy to help you out with this! π
While it’s not a built-in option, you’re not the first to want something like this, and it’s been submitted as a feature request (so feel free to up vote here).
In the meantime, I think that the following resources will likely get you on the right track for making this customization:
- Display “Sold Out” in Events list, event page and Calendar
- Hide Sold Out Events in Widgets
- Adding sold out notices for tickets in List View
Let me know if you have any further questions or need clarification on any of those, and I’ll help out as I can, though we’re not always able to fully support custom development ideas like this.
Cheers,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi Steve,
I’d be happy to help you out with this today, and I have some awesome news for you:
It’s even easier than adding a snippet. We now have this free extension that allows you to easily re-label many of the text strings that we typically get requests for. π
I’ll keep it brief here because it’s pretty well explained in that knowledgebase article, on how to use it, but please please feel free to ask any questions you may have along the way!
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Jon,
I’d be happy to help you out here with your countdown widgets!
Could you please tell me exactly where you pasted the shortcode so I can get a better understanding of how your site is currently configured? I should then be able to give you some guidance on making changes to your photo view. π
Thanks so much, and please feel free to ask any questions that come up in the meantime!
Best,

ParticipantHi jeataylor,
Thanks for posting, I’d love to help you out here!
This seems like it may be a theme or plugin conflict. I did a bit of testing attempting to replicate this issue on my local site, and wasn’t able to reproduce it. So, I recommend going through the steps here to test for a conflict.
Let me know what you find out & we’ll go from there!
Best,

ParticipantHi Melissa,
So I checked in with our knowledgebase team, and it turns out that the code I gave you is being revised, and the recommendation is to use the Relabeler Extension that oneyellowtree so kindly linked you to.
Could you tell me more about the problems you had using it? I just tested it, and it seems to be working fine on my end. I would suggest making sure that you’re re-labelling the “plural” labels for events. If you’ve done that, and it’s still not working, please send meΒ steps for replication, and any other relevant info you have regarding the issues you’re having with it. π
Let me know how it goes!
Best,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi again JB,
Great question, allow me to clarify! π
The Events Calendar (free), Events Calendar PRO, Event Tickets (free), Event Tickets Plus, & WooCommerce will accomplish the following out of your requests:
I want to create an online fitness timetable/calendar, that contains mutliple events.
With its WordPress account, I want that the client could choose and add a specific event to its Woocommerce cart to buy the lesson/event.The name of the client should appear on the event page, as attendee (like on Facebook).
What our plugins won’t do is this, though I’m sure the developer helping with customizations can recommend a plugin to you or implement some custom code for this:
After the payment, the lesson/event would appear in a dedicated section of βMy Accountβ page
Hope that helps answer your follow up questions! Let me know if any others arise!
Cheers!

ParticipantHey Mister,
No problem! Let’s see if I can get you on the right track. I think you may find George’s comments in this thread helpful for getting custom taxonomies set up. π
If your inquiry is primarily related the the URL structure though, you may want to check out our Relabeler Extension. π
Let me know if that helps, or conversely, if it wasn’t quite what you were looking for.
Thanks!
Shelby π
