Calendar Pro Search Issue – Maybe Apostrophe?

I’m hoping this will be a “duh” moment for me. Anyway, I’ve taken on support for a non-profit site that had The Events Calendar Pro.

There seems to be a search issue. There are 2 events, one “Women’s Group” and one “Men’s Group”, both of them are tomorrow (3/17), so when searching, the future events (tomorrow’s events) should show.

When I type “Women’s Group”, “women’s group” “womens group”, any combination, the correct results are showing up: https://jcc.staging.wpengine.com/?s=women%27s+group

When I type “Men’s Group”, “men’s group”, “mens group”, only the Women’s Group event shows. I get that “men’s” is in that event title and that’s fine, but why is Men’s Group not showing up?

I’ve updated the plugins and cleared the server cache.

Thanks for posting, I’d love to help you out here!

This seems like it may be a theme or plugin conflict. I did a bit of testing attempting to replicate this issue on my local site, and wasn’t able to reproduce it. So, I recommend going through the steps here to test for a conflict.

Yes, you’re right. There are some filters in this theme that need to be fixed or removed.

Sorry about that! I thought I had disabled these and I was still having issues.
