October 31, 2011 at 3:08 pm in reply to: Calendar month navigation with ajax: problem in Internet Explorer #10353
Rob
MemberTalked to the dev about your request, Wes, and he wasn’t quite sure what you meant; in IE8 and below the links just work exactly like normal links. In other browsers they do AJAX.
To clarify for the previous post in this thread – the reason we don’t do AJAX in IE is because they don’t support replacing the URL in the title bar.

MemberHey Tony, is it possible that you have multiple versions of ECP or TEC activated? This is a likely cause of the problem you’re having and of course shouldn’t happen. Let me know if that is the possible issue here.
Rob
MemberHey guys. To add onto Kevin’s point…I spoke this over with our dev, and it looks like the only solution for now if you don’t want to alter Thesis is to do a template override and change our .previous class to .tribe-previous and then change the CSS rule in events.css.
Rob
MemberHey Wes, sure. Here’s an example:
tribe_get_start_date( get_the_ID(), false, ‘d/m/y’)
This is obviously a very generic example and most likely will need to be changed depending on what exactly you’re aiming to do, but that’s the direction to take.
Rob
MemberHey Michael. Spoke with our dev on this over the weekend. Looks like you can call tribe_get_events with a “start_date” and “end_date” parameters.
Rob
MemberMy pleasure. Always happy to help. If anything else arises going forward just give us a shout.
Rob
MemberHey there. Not sure, but our developer would know. I’ve passed this his way and should be able to get you a response by Monday.

MemberSince we’re discussing this both via email & on the thread, I’m going to shift over to the email 🙂 Will follow-up there shortly.
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear. Thanks for confirming and have a great weekend yourself!
Rob
MemberHey Al. Believe we’ve got it nailed down; there was some missing code that got stripped out in our issue tracker. I’ll update the article (https://theeventscalendar.com/event-submissions-using-gravity-forms-in-2-0/) we’ve got on this shortly this afternoon. Let me know if you’re still having issues from there.
Rob
MemberWhat is your venue name custom field called? Is it _EventVenue or _VenueVenue? You should be using the latter.

MemberYup — looking into this right now. Will follow-up on your email in a few moments here.

MemberThanks for confirming. Sounds like it is an ECP issue then. I’ll have to check with our developer John as to what the CDN’s impact may be. I’ve sent this his way and should have an answer shortly.
Rob
MemberOh, also – the code is a bit clearer here: https://theeventscalendar.com/event-submissions-using-gravity-forms-in-2-0/. I doubt you manually rewrote it based on my first note, but if you did, try that code instead.
Rob
MemberThanks guys. I’m going to get John, the developer who wrote this update & tested/confirmed this as functional, to chime in. I just handle support/QA and am not a developer – so this one is a bit outside my area of expertise. I’ve sent this his way.
