MemberThanks Roberto.
Sara: let me know if Roberto’s suggestion above helps.
Rob
MemberThanks Al. I believe you should be able to drop it wherever, but I’ll get John to confirm.

MemberThanks for the words Markus. Thanks for the note on this. Couldn’t you accomplish what you’re going for by creating those multi-day events as actually 1 event that recurs? In that case it’d allow for separate listings of the “same” entry, the big difference being they’d all have independent URLs rather than share the same.
Let me know. If that wouldn’t work I can check with the dev team; not sure if this is doable without some custom dev though. Thanks!

MemberHey Cary. Excellent to hear you’ve been able to make progress on this one yourself; sounds like with regards to the sidebar issue, you need some help. I’m going to get our developer to check on that since it’s a bit outside my area of expertise.
On the breadcrumbs: those should be dictated by your theme, since they aren’t in the code by default to display on the 2011 theme. Are you just trying to hide them?
Rob
MemberHad to pass this on to another developer, but I know it’s in the current batch he’s looking at. Will have a response as soon as he’s been able to digest 🙂

MemberThanks Sara. Is there a reason you’re not running the 2011 theme? We stopped supporting the 2010 theme with the 2.0 release; can you try switching to 2011 to see if the issue persists?
We can address whether one of those other plugins is causing the conflict if it gets to that stage, but I’d like to see what happens if you switch to 2011. Thanks in advance!
Rob
MemberThanks for confirming. I guess what I’m asking is, where did you get that URL for ?post_type=tribe_events? You should go to Settings –> The Events Calendar, then set the URL slug as /events. The URL it generates automatically (appears underneath the slug field) should be where your events live. Make sure to resave your permalinks page after this.
Let me know what happens from there and I can keep trying to troubleshoot.

MemberWe’re on track with it – aiming to release sometime late next week. Fingers crossed.

MemberHey Adam. Just a heads up that I’ve got John looking at this now, so he should have a response for you shortly.
Rob
MemberHey AC. Thanks for the heads up; I’ve verified that #2 is legitimate and have logged it as a bug for the team to address. Since we’re already on a code freeze for the 2.0.2 release (coming out next week), I’ve added this to 2.0.3 so it’s in our next batch of issues to address.
As for the first though, I was unable to recreate this on my 2.0.1 install running on the default 2011 theme. What were the exact event criteria you used to accomplish this? If you can let me know or provide a screenshot showing your exact event/custom field criteria, I can take a look and see if I can recreate.
First, though: does the same thing happen when you deactivate any other plugins you’ve got running? If not, what about if you deactivate other plugins AND revert to the 2011 theme?
