That’s odd; I’ve been testing against the WP 3.3 beta and so far the majority of issues I’ve noted have all been minor display bugs; the calendar itself was working fine. Does this happen even after re-saving your permalinks? Any chance you could hook me up with a set of backend creds for this test site so I can take a look (feel free to do so by email if you wish to keep it private)? Our goal is for smooth integration with 3.3 and up until seeing your note it seemed we were well on our way to hitting that 🙂

Hey Andre. Thanks for the note; sorry to hear you’re having issues. What are the criteria for the events you’re setting up? Can you link me to someplace where I can check this out directly?

Excellent to hear. We’re making good progress on it; if you email me (rob at tri.be) sometime next week, I could get you into the beta if you’re interested in that sort of thing 🙂

Thanks for the words Michael. This should be doable; have you seen Jonah’s walkthrough that we just published on Friday, covering how to fully customize the events? You can view it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-completely-customize-widgets/. Does that help?

So it sounds like what you’re trying to do is adjust the map size on the venue pages, right? Let me see if Jonah has any ideas. We may also want to consider tying these together in the code so that once it’s changed one place, it carries over to both…not sure if that’s possible but we’ll get you what we can regardless.

Hi Lucy. Totally! You can feel free to do this; the easiest way would be to activate it on the test server / plug in the license key / then deactivate the license key for that site on tri.be and re-add it to the new site upon going live.

Realistically, you don’t even need to enter the license code on your dev site. No functionality stops working without a license code; you just cannot get plugin updates or access the support forums without one. But in most cases there’s no need to enter the license on your dev site unless you want to.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey Brian. This is a good question; I’m not sure the answer off-hand but let me get our developer Jonah to take a look.

Meghan, we’re hoping to have this out within a couple months – and aiming for a stable beta by the end of the year.

Hey Kylie. I believe this FAQ will help with what you’re seeking: https://theeventscalendar.com/?qa_faqs=how-can-i-place-the-map-featured-image-below-the-event-description-instead-of-above. Let me know if not and I can get Jonah to take a look.

Hey David. I believe you’d emailed me about this, right? It’d be awesome if I could see a screenshot of how your Appearance –> Menus page was configured, to get a better feel for what could be wrong here.

Hello again Peter! The easiest way to do this seems like it’d just be to modify the English translation (with a tool like POEdit) so that it rendered as whatever you wanted it to. Might that serve your needs?

Hey Peter, sorry to hear you’re having issues. Where did these events come from? Were they migrated from 1.3.3? 1.6.5? Let me know the details of how you got them over and I can check it out for you.

Thanks Kylie! Glad to see that fixed James’ issue.

James: let us know if anything else like this arises and we’ll do what we can to assist.

Steve – if you drop the code-in-question into pastie.org, you can share the link there with Brian…if you’d be so inclined 🙂
