MemberHey Mario. Not yet; we’re on 2.0.4 currently, and so this won’t make it until 2.1 or a 2.1.x release shortly thereafter. Hope that helps, and sorry I couldn’t offer up more. Let me know if you’ve got any other questions here.

MemberHi Scott. Thanks for the note…happy to help you out here. But can you elaborate a bit? I’m not sure where the metadata field comes into play here; the “Advanced Post Manager” functionality is essentially just this ability to filter your events on the backend, as can be seen in this screenshot: http://cl.ly/2b3o351v2E2D3w0j472j.
Let me know if I’ve misunderstood the question and I’d be happy to elaborate or adjust my response. Cheers!

MemberAh, you should definitely not have both versions active at once. That’s a recipe for disaster. 🙂 Basically it looks like we’re at a point where both the code bases have something you want (and something you don’t), but it’s not easy to merge those…and working with beta code (as the 2.1 is) we’re unable to provide support as it’s not an official release. That being said let me see if Nick has any ideas to point you in the right direction here. Stay tuned.

MemberExcellent! Glad to see you got this figured out, and thanks for the words. We’re looking forward to seeing where it all goes too. Let me know if you need anything else.

MemberHey Carl. Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear you’re having problems. Are you sure those events are actually configured as recurring? When I click into one (say, http://cl.ly/061A3J0332241a2N240L), I don’t see any link to view the entire recurrence pattern. Have I misunderstood the request here?
Let me know. Want to do what we can to help you get this resolved.
Rob
MemberThanks a lot for the words, Michael 🙂 We definitely appreciate that and it validates what we’re doing from day to day. If you need anything else as you keep using the plugin please do let us know.
Rob
MemberHey Julien. Thanks for confirming. The use of a third party plugin certainly comes to mind, but let me see if our dev Jonah has any suggestions that can point you in the right direction here. Stay tuned.
Rob
MemberHey Jacob. On the first point: let me see if our dev Jonah has any suggestions for how to integrate here, or if he can point you in the right direction.
On the second: definitely! If you email pro /a/ tri.be about that, someone will help you out independent of the forum. Thanks again for your support.

MemberHey Ian. Thanks for confirming; that’s very weird. Are you in a position where you can test whether it’s a conflict with the theme? Would be awesome if you were able to test (even if on a staging environment) on the default 2011 theme to see if the issue persists. If it doesn’t we can at least identify that it’s a theme conflict and work from there.
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, shoot an email to pro /a/ tri.be with a link to this thread, along with a set of backend creds so one of us can take a look, and we’ll jump into it to see if we can identify what’s up (without changing anything of course).
Rob
MemberNo problem, David. Thanks for confirming. I’ve looked into this and its a bit outside my area of expertise, so I’ve asked our dev Jonah to chime in directly. Expect a response from him shortly…and my apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.
Rob
MemberExcellent; thanks for confirming. If you need anything else from us please don’t hesitate to reach out.

MemberJulien: let me know whether what I mentioned at the other thread (re: new vs existing events) applies here as well.
February 29, 2012 at 6:28 pm in reply to: Search results displaying the incorrect URL for recurring events #15964Rob
MemberJulien: it could, have you tried to see whether this issue persists with newly created events too? Please make sure to flush your permalinks before trying, just to be safe.

MemberHey Andy, are you saying you’re unable to download any iCal file from the calendar? Is it a specific event you’re having problems with? I just tested the tagged 2.0.4 code base and was able to generate both the full calendar iCal file and one for an individual entry. Let me know and I can keep troubleshooting this for you.

MemberHi again Stephen. We talked this over with our dev Joey today, and unfortunately it’s no small feat to accomplish this. This is the kind of thing that would take a significant amount of time to investigate (could be 15 minutes, but more likely 30m to 1h to find a good working solution, if not more). Given our limited bandwidth we’re unfortunately not able to provide support to that degree.
That said, we are going to be working on a version of this for 2.2 as part of the responsive design. So you could either wait for 2.2, which is still a couple months out, or I could refer you to some devs who may be able to assist. Let me know your thoughts.
