MemberHey Rochelle,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
You can add the snippet in your theme’s functions.php file:
https://gist.github.com/nefeline/313d861e13eea64079b1e8aea203e051
It will remove the ical and google cal links from all of your single event pages (with and without tickets).
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!
Best Regards,
Patricia

MemberHey Lana,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Can you please confirm that you are accessing your Dashboard as an Administrator? For example: if you access your site as a Contributor you won’t be able to publish new posts (and this includes events as well). You will find more information about Roles and Capabilities here.
I hope this helps! If you are accessing your Dashboard as admin and are still unable to post new events, please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist!

MemberHey Ingrid,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
We are unfortunately unable to provide support through our Pre-Sales forum channel, but to help you get started, you can add the following snippet in the end of your theme’s functions.php file:
https://gist.github.com/nefeline/1d302462e9bb2891e87a226c1a775c6e
In this example your excerpt length will be changed to 300.
If you need further assistance, please head over to The Events Calendar WordPress.org.
If you have a PRO license, you can log into your account and get assistance through the PRO forums. If you need to reset your password, you can do so here. This will send an email to the account used when you initially registered for the support forums.
I hope this helps!
Cheers,
Patricia

MemberHey Matt,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
A few weeks ago we released a Hotfix (The Events Calendar 4.5.12.3) to solve this issue related to the display of events in the default Month View calendar.
This problem was introduced with WordPress version 4.8.2 and impacts all previous versions of The Events Calendar.
To solve this problem, I would recommend you to update as soon as possible. Please don’t forget to clear your site and your browser cache after the update.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!

MemberHi Julie,
I’ve just noticed that our forum is automatically converting the quotes to curly, but you will find a practical example here (in the “Limitations of the [tribe_events] Shortcode” section):

MemberHey Julie,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
I’m so sorry to hear that you are having problems with your shortcode! Let me help you to solve this.
Please make sure that if you use quotation marks in your shortcodes, they are only “straight quotes” and are not “curly quotes.”
The shortcode you shared here is using curly quotes. Please replace it with: [tribe_events view=”list” tag=”EFP”] and let me know if everything works as expected after that.
You will find more information about our calendar shortcodes here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!

MemberHey Greg,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Unfortunately WordPress won’t export your events in .xlsx format. There are some plugins that might help you to achieve what you want (although I have not tested them), like Simple CSV/XLS Exporter.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!

MemberHi There!
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m so sorry to hear that you are having problems to import your events! Let me help you to solve this.
Regarding your problems with Facebook:
You need to connect to Facebook for Event Aggregator to work properly: once you insert a valid Facebook token (under Events > Settings > APIs), you will be able to import your events. Please make sure that you are not trying to connect to Facebook using an incognito/private window. If the issue persists, try again using a different browser and let me know how it goes.
Regarding the problem with Google Calendar:
To be able to import events from Google Calendar, you must get the private iCal address for your calendar and paste that URL to your site. You can follow the instructions provided in this article to generate the private iCal address.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!

To achieve what you want I would recommend you to use the shortcode version of the widget and set it to something like:
[tribe_events_list limit="20"]
You will find more information about our widget shortcodes here:

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!

MemberHi Sharon,
Thanks for sharing your solution with us!
It is still unclear to me why the “Include events in main blog loop” option only affected your mobile view calendar and not the desktop version as this option should show events with your site’s posts in all views, but I’m glad to hear that everything is working as expected now!
If you have any other questions, please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist!
Best Regards,
