MemberHi Alec,
Thanks for your confirmation on this! Based on what you described, the number of recurrences is not the cause of the issue in your case.
I believe you are being affected by a bug: If a recurring event has multiple exclusions (15+) the edit event page freezes, or takes ~20s to load.
I would recommend you to access these recurring events and check the number of exclusions you have to confirm if that’s the cause of the issue in your specific case.
If the high number of event exclusions is the culprit, I’ll link this thread to our internal report and you will be notified as soon as a fix is available. If you that’s not the cause of the issue in your case, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help you with the next steps.
If you have any other questions at all please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Thanks,
Patricia

I’m afraid that what you are asking is not possible, but there’s a workaround that might help you to achieve what you want:
You can export the events from your site to an external calendar by using the following URL to the .ics file:
[your-site]/events/ical
It’s important to note that there is major difference between exporting events from your website calendar and syncing events to another calendar. When you export your website events as an .ics file and import the file into a personal calendar application, the changes you make to the calendar on your website will not sync to the personal calendar application. In other words, you would need to download a new version of the .ics file and re-import it to your personal calendar. Syncing events is not currently a supported feature of The Events Calendar.
Is this what you were looking for? If you have any other questions at all please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

MemberHi there,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
To be able to import events from Google Calendar, you have to use the iCal address. You can find the URL you need in your Google Calendar settings.
Please access Google Calendar and head over to Settings > Calendars and select the calendar you wish to import.
Scroll down to Calendar Address and click the iCal button (note: if your calendar is private, you’ll need to click the iCal button next to the Private Address header instead).
Use the provided URL to import the events to your site ( It will be something like > https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/example/basic.ics )
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions at all please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

Our map calendar is built on Google maps, so the map scale will update to fit your needs based on zoom level. You can look for events that will happen next to specific addresses and parks as well.
I would recommend you to access our demo site so you can check how it works:

You will have to modify a CSS rule to guarantee that the “choose month” dropdown menu won’t disappear.
Adding the following rule to your theme’s style.css file may solve the problem:
.tribe_events_filter_item.closed div {
display: unset !important;
}I hope this helps! If you have any other questions at all please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

MemberHey Meredith,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
I’ve just accessed your calendar on http://www.vedanta.org.au/events/ and all single events I clicked are correctly displayed as I can see from here.
Regarding this link you shared, didn’t you change the event permalink from “event/the-power-of-surrender” to http://www.vedanta.org.au/events/power-of-surrender/ ? The second link is working as I can see from here.
If you have any other questions at all please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

I believe the best way to achieve what you want is by enabling the “Recurring event instances” option (under events > settings > General settings) to Show only the first instance of each recurring event ( please note that this option only affects list-style views).
After that, please add the following code on [your theme]/tribe-events/single-event.php
https://gist.github.com/nefeline/7a087e946e4c46bd30e64ae547c6e4d1
This template overrides the single-event.php file and adds a list with all recurring event dates at the beginning of each individual event: here’s an example.
I hope this helps you get started! If you have any other questions at all please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

Patricia
