ParticipantI am a new user and haven’t been able to find this. We have long maintained a Google Calendar and bought Event Aggregator specifically because it would allow us to import Google directly to Events Calendar and not require us to maintain two separate calendars on the site. However, upon providing the Google URL (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/render?tab=cc#main_7) and trying to preview, I received the following error message: “There was an error fetching the results from your import: Events could not be imported. The URL provided did not have events in the proper format.” But the Google entries are made using the standard Calendar format. I’m sure the answer is an easy one, and I’ll get over my humiliation if someone can point out whatever obvious error I’m making.

ParticipantI have now seen that there are a number of similar issues reported in other threads. But I haven’t seen a solution (other than the guy who asked for a refund, but that’s not exactly a solution). Hoping to learn an easy fix soon! š

Thank you for reaching out to us!
To be able to import events from Google Calendar, you have to use the iCal address. You can find the URL you need in your Google Calendar settings.
Please access Google Calendar and head over to Settings > Calendars and select the calendar you wish to import.
Scroll down to Calendar Address and click the iCal button (note: if your calendar is private, you’ll need to click the iCal button next to the Private Address header instead).
Use the provided URL to import the events to your site ( It will be something like > https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/example/basic.ics )
