MemberHey @jtfimprov,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing. I’ve imported the events from your Facebook page with no problems, but we’ve already had other users reporting similar issues with the Event Aggregator service.
We just released the latest version of The Events Calendar (4.5.9) with new fixes for Events Aggregator, so I would suggest you to update your plugins and check if the problem is solved after that.
If the issue persists after the plugin update, please let me know and I’ll be happy to further investigate your case!

MemberHey Robert,
Thank you for reaching out to us! You can change the background color of the week’s row in month view by adding the following code in your style.css file:
.tribe-events-calendar thead th, .tribe-events-grid .tribe-grid-header .tribe-grid-content-wrap .column, .tribe-grid-header { background-color: grey !important; }In this example the color with be changed to grey. I’ve tested this code on your site and it worked as expected.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else and have a great week!

MemberHey Nina,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing.
Can you please make sure that both The Events Calendar (TEC) and Events Calendar Pro (ECP) are up to date? (TEC version 4.5.8.1 and ECP version 4.4.14).
I believe that this issue might be associated with an update released two weeks ago where we changed the permalink structure for recurring events. Can you please access your Dashboard and head over to Settings > Permalinks for a permalink flush? (no need to change anything, just visit the permalinks page: WordPress will automatically trigger the Permalink flush once you access that page).
I hope this helps to solve your problem! If for some reason the issue persists, please me know and I’ll be happy to further investigate your case.
Regards,
Patricia

MemberHey Christos,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Event Aggregator licenses provide you with a maximum number of scheduled imports you can run each day and each scheduled import deducts from that number. You can check this article to understand how Event Aggregator’s import limits work:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregators-import-limits-work/
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime and I’ll be happy to assist! 🙂

MemberHi Aldea,
Thanks for your confirmation on this!
I believe there’s a conflict occurring here and causing this issue you are experiencing. Can you please follow this tutorial to determine if a conflict is happening and find out what is causing it?
Also, can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share with us any messages you see while accessing your venue page? All WP_DEBUG messages will be stored in a debug.log file in /wp-content/debug.log.
Let me know your test results or if you have any other questions in the meantime!

MemberHi Cheryl!
No, this action won’t affect the process of creating and/or updating recurring events at all. My own site runs with real cron and everything works as expected.
Cron is used by The Events Calendar pro to basically constrain recurring events with too many instances to only create instances within a configured time around the current date. Cron is also used to filter the interval at which to process import records on Events Aggregator.
You can expect an overall improvement in performance, but if for some reason you find any problem after this change, you can simply revert to wp-cron.php in a few seconds.
The solution suggested by your hosting support team might be a good option as well. At this point the best approach is to run some tests and try to identify the best solution for your problem.
Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!

Patricia

MemberHi Marc,
I’m sorry to know that our solution didn’t work for you! I’m not sure why your event categories and sub categories aren’t displaying properly: I’ve tested in my own site and everything is working as expected (please check these screenshots: Event categories and CE submission form).
Can you please make sure that this snippet is present in your functions.php file and that this code is active on wp-content/themes/flawless-child/tribe-events/community/modules/taxonomy.php?

MemberHi Mark,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Can you please let us know what is the page you are getting this insecure request? As I can see from here both https://juanscafeandcantina.com/ and https://www.whynopadlock.com/events/ are fully secured (the green padlock is already in place).

Patricia

MemberHey Scott,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing. As I can see from your system info you don’t have the free version of The Events Calendar (TEC) plugin installed and/or activated.
Please access your account or use this link from wordpress.org to download the latest version (4.5.8.1) of the plugin.
With the latest version of TEC installed, Event Aggregator should work as expected as well.
I hope this helps! If you need anything else in the meantime, please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist!

Thank you for reaching out to us!
I’m very sorry to know about this issue you are experiencing. To get started, can you please check if:
1- In Events-> settings-> Map Settings the “Enable Google Maps” option is active?
2- While editing a venue, is the “Show Google Map:” option enabled? With these options enabled, Google map should display properly in the venue page.
If the issue persists, please let me know and I’ll be happy to further investigate your case!

MemberHey Paul,
Thanks for reaching out! You can change the Google Maps default zoom level on Settings-> General -> Map Settings.
Answering your second question, it is possible to use latitude and longitude coordinates to define a Venue location, but this feature is only available on Events Calendar Pro. You can check the “Using Coordinates” section of this article for further information.

MemberHi Miriam,
I just noticed that you want to add this text in the Community Events submission form. In this case, you can use a filter like this one to achieve what you want:

MemberHey Miriam,
Thanks for contacting us!
You can easily change/update the texts in the Event Details by including a snippet similar to this one in your theme’s functions.php file:
https://gist.github.com/nefeline/dfc86092942201eae7081db9edda9264
You will find further information about how to change any text (string) in The Events Calendar in the following article:
I hope this helps your get started!
