Hello there,

a current problem occurs, in openening a event, wich is datet as repetition.

There is only shown the overview in clicking on the first event. Even if you press “more” the event is only shown in the preview mode.

What to do??

Hey Nina,

Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing.

Can you please make sure that both The Events Calendar (TEC) and Events Calendar Pro (ECP) are up to date? (TEC version 4.5.8.1 and ECP version 4.4.14).

I believe that this issue might be associated with an update released two weeks ago where we changed the permalink structure for recurring events. Can you please access your Dashboard and head over to Settings > Permalinks for a permalink flush? (no need to change anything, just visit the permalinks page: WordPress will automatically trigger the Permalink flush once you access that page).

I hope this helps to solve your problem! If for some reason the issue persists, please me know and I’ll be happy to further investigate your case.

Dear Patricia,

no sorry the promlem is still not solved. All Plugins and WordPress are updated, I have visited the permalinks page, still the same problem. Have a look at this link: http://www.tajetgarden.de/event/frei-atmen-atemtherapie-zeit-fuer-dich-mit-dina-wolter/alle/
You can’t get to the single event, you will be allways be led to the overview, even from the backend of the event. thank’s for helping!

Hi Nina,

I’m sorry to know you are still experiencing this problem. While accessing the recurring events list you just sent, I’ve noticed that only the first event on the list was always redirecting me back to the All Events Page, the events from September and October are both accessible and working as expected.

The link to the first event is this one:

But it is being permanently moved to /event/frei-atmen-atemtherapie-zeit-fuer-dich-mit-dina-wolter/

You can check this issue by copying and pasting the URL to http://redirectcheck.com

Instead of the expected HTTP/1.1 200 OK status, it is returning HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently.

I’d suggest you to review your rewrite rules and remove the one that is implementing this specific redirect.
