    Howdy Andrea,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll try to help you here!

I can see the issue in the URL you shared, thanks for sharing that upfront! Before I’ll try to reproduce this on my local install, Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

    Howdy Peter,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us! I’ll help you here…

First of all let me say that WooTickets is a legacy plugin now replaced by the combination of Event Tickets (free plugin) and Event Ticket Plus (premium add-on). I suggest you move to our new plugins an re-test before we start working on this issue – checkout the New User Primer: Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus to get started.

Once you are all set with the new plugins please re-test, if this still an issue I’ll help you getting it right 🙂

    Best,
    Nico

PS: you should see an Event Tickets Plus license in your account!

    Hey Linda,

Thanks for reaching out! Interesting question here, I must admit I’m not sure right off the top of my head about it, but surely willing to try that out myself and see if it’s possible at all.

Can you please indicate what shortcode you are using to get these (tribe_events_list or tribe_featured_venue)? How/Where are you using it?

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hey CDC,

Josh is out today, so I’ll try to help you out here 🙂

I believe the plugin (Better WordPress Minify) we were using was helping us to override the theme’s style settings and use the default Event Calendar settings? So disabling it makes it look like it does.

Not sure about the above, maybe it’s minifying a CSS file in some way that’s not taking effect?

Is there another easy way to override the theme’s style settings with the default settings of the events calendar/community events style settings?

That depend’s on how the rules are set up in your theme file. I guess what Josh mentioned before nails it: ...within a “tribe-events.css” file within a “tribe-events” folder within your theme. There you’ll be able to add all customization/overrides you’ll need, keeping that code from the one inside the theme stylesheet. You can also create a Child Theme of the one you are using so these changes won’t get overwritten by a theme update 😉

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Koro,

Josh will be out today, that’s why I’m getting back to you.

He will continue to help you here, in the meantime it would be great if you could share your system information (maybe in a private reply) so we can check if everything looks right on that end. Having the website URL where we can see this going on will help as well 🙂

    Thanks,
    Nico

    Howdy Ravi,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll try to help you decide what’s the best option here.

I don’t think there’s an easy way to migrate the orders into tickets attendee data other than manually 🙁 Products can be linked by a meta field in the database, but I guess it will be better to set up everything again from scratch. Upfront it might sound like extra work but I’m sure that having everything correctly set up will save time in the future for sure!

For the customer that already purchased you can manually create orders for the new tickets and complete them from the backend without them have to do anything.

Please let me know if this sound right to you,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi there Giammarco,

Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our products 🙂

Regarding compatibility with ACF I’m not aware of any major conflict with said plugin and ours. That being said we cannot assure continues compatibility between the plugins but it’s something we look forward to since they product is great and widely used!

Events Calendar PRO comes packed with additional fields that will be shown in the front end of the site without any additional coding (as it would require to show ACF). PRO additional fields are also filterable by Filter Bar (a separate add-on that generates filter options for your calendar), while with ACF you’ll need to code the filters your self.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you,

    Hi Justin,

Thanks for bringing this back into our attention and sorry for the hassle of editing the core files after every update. I’ve found the bug report Josh made back when you reported the issue and bumped the priority of it. I don’t think it will make to the next release as it’s already ‘closed’ for new tickets to be added, but be sure this is under the radar and will be fixed.
Please understand that is not as simple as changing the code as in the patch, the fix has to be tested under different conditions so we can make sure it doesn’t affect other parts of the code in different scenarios.

I will set this thread status to ‘Pending Fix’ instead of closing it so you’ll get notified when this is ready. Does that sounds right to you?

    Howdy Shelly,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll help you figuring out what’s going on here!

Let me say that we are not hearing issue with WordPress 4.4.1 + iCal importer from other folks and I also run some quick tests and it seems to work fine on my local install as well. This doesn’t mean your issue is not legit of course but we will have to troubleshoot a bit to understand were it’s coming from.

Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

It will also be nice to have the feed URL (you can mark your reply as private) so I can test on my side if it’s importing correctly (and we can discard this being an issue with the feed). If you can create a test feed to run another test it will be useful to.

Last, Can you send me a screenshot of what the importer is finding? Are the past dates you see 01/01/1970?

Sorry for the many follow-up questions! Hope we can make this right soon,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Ana,

I could run some test in my local install and it’s importing the events with the correct start and end dates (for example, this is true for me: the Feb. 12 Evansville Icemen vs. Wings appointment has a start time of 7:15PM and an end time of 9:15PM). For my test I changed the WP Timezone to UTC -6 and imported the iCal file you provided.

It would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end. We can also make some additional tests to check on this:

    – One possibility is to create a sample Google Calendar (in the same timezone) with a couple of events and then trying to import it ans see how it goes.
    – Other option is to re-test the original feed in a fresh WordPress install, it could be a local one.

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

Folks, I can confirm that this bug will be addressed in the upcoming maintenance release. Unfortunately I still don’t have any approximate date for this to be out. I’ve tried downgrading the version of the plugin but the issue seems to happen in version 4.0 as well.

    Best,
    Nico
