    Hey @yvrmark,

Thanks for the report, the behaviour you describe for Chrome sounds really strange. Can you try this in a ‘Incognito’ tab or after deleting the browser cache?

What you are getting in Firefox and Edge seems to match with other users report, and will be solved by the bug fix.

    Hi Mirja,

I’ve just noticed this thread was out of my radar, I’m really sorry about it. I was out for the holidays and I wasn’t aware this issue was still not solved 🙁

I will take a look at this again tomorrow, and re-test if it’s still an issue with the latest release.

    Thanks for the patience,
    Best,
    Nico

    Petros,

I’m really sorry I didn’t get back to you before. I was out for the holidays and this issue has been out of my radar when I returned. I’ll run the said tests tomorrow and get back to you.

Really sorry about the delay 🙁

    Hey Anna,

Thanks for confirming this! I see a logged bug that could be related to what you describe, but I’ll need to run a couple of test to confirm this. Can you indicate what’s the Timezone Settings for events (WP-Admin > Events > Settings >Timezone Settings)?

I’ll get back to you tomorrow with more info on this.

Thanks for the patience while we sort this out,
    Best,
    Nico

Thanks for the update folks. We were aware it was not working for Woo Products (some reports came in last week about it), but some additional testing confirmed it’s not an issue with the products post type but a broader issue with Custom Post Types in general. I still don’t have a timeline for this, but of course it will be addressed at some point hopefully soon!

I’ll keep you posted about it,
    Thanks,
    Nico

    Glad to hear Neil!

One thing I forgot to mention is that you can go ahead and make a purchase of the products to try them out. If you feel it doesn’t work well for your project you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, that might be the way to be sure about it.

I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you need help with anything else please don’t hesitate to create a new one and we will be happy to assist you.

    Hi there @welswebmaster,

Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear about this issue with the update. I’ll try to help you out with it.

From what you state I guess this is a permalink issue, and not related with the update / views itself. Can you try to re-save permalinks (WP-Admin > Settings > Permalinks > Save Changes) after setting the views? Also I see you marked that would have testes this with default WordPress theme and no other plugins active, can you confirm you did?

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hey @damiendasher and Tony,

Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear about this issue 🙁

I could reproduce this on my local install so I can confirm this is a bug and not caused by your site set-up or other plugins. I’ve logged the bug in our backlog, but I cannot confirm when this will be addressed. I will probably have more info on the timeline for this in the following days.

Do you recall if this was working before the latest update?

Thanks for the patience while we work to fix this,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Neill,

Thanks a lot for reaching out and for your interest in our products 🙂

Before answering your questions, let me mention that we have two new plugins for adding tickets for events: Event Tickets (adds basic RSVP functionality) and Event Tickets Plus (add the ability to sell tickets though different e-commerce platforms, including WooCommerce). WooTickets is now a “legacy” plugin and we do not recommend it’s use for new websites. That being said let’s jump to your questions:

Different admins being able to post/edit events

    Sure it’s possible!

Events being categorised (with search by category)

Yeap, the events post type comes with an event category taxonomy to categorize events. This means there is a category just for events! While categories have a specific page that lists all events under it there’s no specific search by category. That’s not a feature included by default, but something you can build with a bit of custom coding for sure.

Paypal account to receive moneys to be set on a per event basis (would woo adaptive payments plugin be needed?)

Our plugin just creates the tickets (as Woo products), but the checkout itself is handled by WooCommerce. I’m not familiar with the woo adaptive payments plugin, so not sure about it. If it let’s you set a PayPal account per product I guess it should work well for tickets.

Also does is work with WooCommerce coupons?

As stated in the above answer, our plugins just creates the products and adds the ability to add them to the cart from the event page. This means the checkout (including coupons) should work as expected with other products, so summing up: yes coupons should work.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions about my answers or any other doubts I can help you with,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear about this issue. Let’s start by debugging and gathering a bit more information about it.

First of all it would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end. I see you marked that this was tested with no other plugins active and with default theme right?

Are there any particular steps to reproduce this issue? Are you noting the weird behaviour just in the notification email? I mean apart from the notification, the event information is correct in the WordPress backend?

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

    Saludos,
    Nico

    Hey Anna,

Thanks for reaching out to us, and sorry to hear about this issue you are having!

My first guess is that there are differences between the Google Calendar timezone and the WordPress site timezone. Can you check on that? You can see the WP timezone in WP-Admin > Settings > General > Timezone.

Please let me know about it,

    Hi Ana,

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’ll help figuring this out.

Can you point me to the forum post you are referring to? One way is to edit the templates and another way is to hide them via CSS. Can you also indicate which views of the calendar you are using in your site?

Please let me know if you prefer to edit the templates or you would rather use a CSS snippet to hide the images,
    Best,
    Nico
