Nico
MemberHi there,
Just wanted to inform you that yesterday we released a hot fix for the translation issues introduced in version 4.2. Please go ahead and update to The Events Calendar 4.2.1.1 and/or Event Tickets 4.2.1.1. After doing so the translation issues should be gone!
Read more about this release here → Release: The Events Calendar and Event Tickets 4.2.1.1
Thanks for the patience while we worked on this issue,
NicoNico
MemberHi Emily,
Thanks for the report! I could confirm that this is actually a bug.
It’s pretty similar to the one you mention, but with subscribers instead of annon users. I just logged it in our internal tracker, but I still don’t have any information on when the fix for this might be available or if there’s a temporary fix for it.
I’ll set this ticket to ‘Pending Fix’ and will give you a heads-up when I have more info on it!
Thanks again and sorry for the hassle until fixed,
NicoNico
MemberHowdy Karen,
Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll help you here…
Bugs
1. Once tickets have been purchased, we cannot view attendee information within the individual order; we need to move out the individual event. We’d also like the attendees to display on the individual email receipts. It looks like this is a known issue: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/_tribe_wooticket_attendee_optout-is-empty/
It looks like there are two different known issues here: in the Woo order the _tribe_wooticket_attendee_optout meta key is showing up and other issue is that attendee meta is not emailed in the tickets email. Please note that the issue cited in the related thread is about the _tribe_wooticket_attendee_optout key showing up, and it’s not related to the fact that attendee meta is not visible in the Woo Order page.
2. Once an order has been received, if we need to cancel or refund a registration, the ticket sold counts are incorrect. Again, looks like this is a known issue:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/urgent-help-needed-ticket-sold-counts-not-correct-and-cant-launch-site/Indeed Cancelled and Refunded tickets are shown as part of the count unless they are re-stocked when they are refunded or cancelled. Can you please try this? As Brook states in his reply I don’t think this is indeed a bug.
Other issues
1. When we are on the WooCommerce Cart page, we are able to increase the quantity of tickets and update our cart without being prompted to add the required attendee information. Therefore, some tickets are sold without gathering the info we need. There appears to be some workarounds (like disabling the Quantity button in the cart) but it’s still awkward without the ability to review what registrations have been added. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/problem-in-updating-number-of-attendee-on-cart-page/
We have a internal ticket to do better on this limitation, a possible solution noted in the report is to disable the cart quantity selector for tickets with meta. Please note we are considering this as a feature/improvement and not as a bug that needs to be fixed asap, so it’s still not assigned to any release.
2. Attendee information is not displayed in the shopping cart or on the checkout page. It looks like people can’t check or edit their registration information after adding an item to the cart. Is it fair to assume that this was never a part of the plugin?
Indeed this is not a feature in our plugin. Once the purchase is made logged in users are able to edit attendee meta for the tickets purchased, but this is not possible in the cart / before purchase.
Sorry not to have a better answer for you last two questions, I’m aware this is a limitation on our plugin right now!
Please let me know if my answers help,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi there Carmen,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
We just released maintenance release 4.2.1.1 to address the translations issues introduced in version 4.2. From what you describe I guess you might be affected by this.
Also, please note that if you are planning to edit the translations there a way of doing so: How to Override Plugin Language Files.
Regarding the error description you sent: Where are you seeing that error? Can you please send a screeenshot?
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi Erin,
Thanks for reaching out to us on this!
Can you please follow-up with the site link where I can see this in action? Do you get the same result if you resize the browser window until ‘the mobile breakpoint’?
Please let me know about it so I can take a look,

NicoJune 29, 2016 at 6:44 am in reply to: How can I show specific content in sidebar after filtering? #1133378Nico
MemberHey Daniel,
Thanks for reaching out to us and for your interest in our products 🙂
Regarding the sidebar related content, it’s possible to place a sidebar in the calendar but you’ll need to custom code the part of getting the related content in there. That’s not a feature of our product. You can relate posts and events by the use of tags, then it would be easier to get related content in.
For good filteroptions I want to buy the pro Version but there is one question before.
Please note that FilterBar plugin is not included in Events Calendar PRO!
Please let me know if this answers your question or you still need help with it,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi there Mindy,
Thanks for reaching out to us and for your interest in our products 🙂
I’m looking for the customizable view (to include venue organization)…
Not sure what you are referring to here. Is it venue pages (a page that shows venue information an upcoming events for it)? If that’s the case it requires Events Calendar PRO indeed.
…the ability for users to create their own events that I will then approve as an admin.
This will require Community Events but not necessarily Events Calendar PRO.
Do I need to purchase BOTH Events Calendar Pro AND Community Events? That’s 89×2 for 1 site. I have two sites, not three. Do you have a bundle option?
If you need the functionality of both (as decribed in the previous answers), then you’ll need to purchase both. Unfortunately we do not have a bundle for 2 sites, you’ll need to purchase personal licenses for each product or if you prefer a business licenses (3 sites) for each of the plugins you need.
Also, our IT department is concerned with javascript/PHP security issues. Will this be an issue with this plugin?
I would recommend reading this article on WordPress security to better understand the subject in first place. Regarding our plugin we push maintenance releases regularly (every two weeks aprox) to maintain our code stable and secure. If there’s an urgent security issue we even push hotfix releases to address them immediately (like we did in 4.1.1.1).
Please let me know if these answers your queations,

MemberHola Carmen,
Saludos,
NicoNico
MemberHi there,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in our products
We need to gather information about the car owner (contact info), the vehicle (year, model, class), and possibly T-shirt size(s). It seems that we would need Events Tickets Plus to get all of the functionality that we need, no? Does that require Events Calendar Plus as well?
Yes, Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus is what you need for this. It doesn’t require Events Calendar PRO!
Can you point us to a demo or sample site that does something similar to what we would like to do?
We still don’t have site showcase list, but be sure to check the product videos at: Event Tickets product page and Event Tickets Plus product page.
And, we are a small not-for-profit organization – do you offer any discounts for your Ticket products?
We do have a Nonprofit Partnership program that allows approved organizations to use Events Calendar PRO for free, as well as providing discounts on our other plugins. You can read our Nonprofit Program Knowledgebase article to get all the details. On that page you’ll find a link to our application form with further instructions.
Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you,
NicoNico
MemberHi Brandi!
Thanks for reaching out to us and for you interest in our products 🙂
I am trying to sell conference registrations but need to know if someone tries to purchase multiple tickets I can have a field populated asking for name of each attendee.
Yup! All attendee information (like name or the fields you create) is collected per ticket. It works just as you described in the example given.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHey Tom,
Thanks for reaching out to us and for your interest in our plugins 🙂
Does the Eventbrite Tickets extension automatically pull all public events from Eventbrite and show them in WP or will each event have to manually be imported?
Each event has to manually imported. You can import products by ID or by using a dropdown that shows all your EventBrite events available for import.
Can I create an Eventbrite event and expect it to automatically show on my webpage using the extension?
Unfortunately no. Be sure to check the product demo video in the EventBrite product page t see how this works. The version in the video is not the latest (it doesn0t have the dropdown with events in the import page for example) but the general use of the plugin is the same.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

NicoJune 28, 2016 at 4:46 pm in reply to: Modify which fields are displayed in the email ticket #1133217Nico
MemberHi Manuela,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’ll help you here…
To modify the tickets email you’ll need to create a template override of the file /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/views/tickets/email.php. Be sure to check the details on how to do so in themer’s guide!
Please let me know if you can make it work,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHey Oliver,
Thanks for the patience here! I crafted a little code snippet in order the get this done, please try pasting it in your theme (or child theme) functions.php file:
/* Tribe - insert a list of upcoming instances for recurring events in the list widget */
function tribe_inject_recurring_instances ( ) {if ( !tribe_is_recurring_event ( ) ) return;
$event_id = Tribe__Events__Main::postIdHelper( null );
$post = get_post( $event_id );$parent_id = $post->post_parent;
if ( !$parent_id ) $parent_id = $event_id;
$child_events = tribe_get_events( array( 'eventDisplay' => 'list', 'post_parent' => $parent_id, 'post__not_in' => array( $event_id ) ) );
if ( empty ($child_events) ) return;
echo '
- ';
- ' . $post->post_title . ' - ' . tribe_get_start_date( $post ) . '
foreach ( $child_events as $post ) { setup_postdata( $post );echo '
';
}
echo '';
}add_action('tribe_events_list_widget_after_the_meta', 'tribe_inject_recurring_instances' );
Please let me know if this works as intended,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHey Gene,
When pasting the last snippet I sent you over (instead of using the previous ones) in the browserr console I can correctly see the community pages without the #pagetitle div!
Can you please tell me which pages are still not working as expected (and send over a link so I can see them)? Can you make sure the last snippet is in place and the others are deleted? If you have any type of caching plugin/solution please be sure to flush it and re-test!
Thanks,
NicoNico
MemberThanks for following up!
The funny thing is I importated at home on my mac and the import did work.
This sounds pretty strange but it’s a clue to discover what’s going on! I couldn’t find any related bugs logged in our internal system that relates to this.
Are you using a different browser? Maybe the browser has some extensions affecting this? Can you re-try using ‘incognito mode’?
Also, are you generating the file again in your Mac before importing? Or is it the exact same file?
Thanks,
Nico -
