ParticipantHi Team,
There is a very big bug in your plugin, that I am facing right now.
1. If my users update the number of attendee on the cart page then how will the information of those attendee will be filled.
2. If I hide the update feature of increasing and decreasing the number of attendees, as currently it is working on my website. If I click on back button on my browner, then all the filled attendees details get lost and if I add attendees details again, it will add to earlier filled attendees so it become double.
Kindly help me out as soon as possible.

ParticipantHey Shahzad,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
To clarify, when a user adds to the cart and completes the additional information, that information gets duplicated if the navigate back from the cart to the product? If I’m not mistaken, if something is added to the cart it gets saved to the cart. If the user navigates back to the same product, it should be adding a second ticket to the cart. Is this different than what you’re experiencing here?
As a workaround here though, it sounds like bypassing the cart completely could be a good solution for this site. Checkout this WooCommerce documentation that will allow you to have the cart redirect to the checkout page.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantI have noticed this same issue.
I’ve thought about hiding the “Update quantity” field on the cart page, to keep the buyer from adding attendees for whom we would not have the required info. But if they do need to add another person, they’ll be likely to use the Back button to return to the event page.
The original tickets are indeed saved in the cart, but when you go back to the event page the fields for Attendee 1 are blank, so it’s not unreasonable that the buyer would think that they need to re-enter the details for Attendee 1 *as well as* entering details for the new Attendee 2. Of course, this adds TWO additional tickets to the cart instead of one.
My only idea for a solution is to have the option to display the Attendee Information fields on the *cart* page, not the event page.

ParticipantHey Tamara,
I see what you’re saying here. The current workflow seems to be causing some confusion with users thinking their previously added ticket wasn’t successfully added to the cart. So, when they decide to go add another ticket, they end up adding the new ticket and the original ticket to the cart creating three tickets in the cart including two versions of the original.
I’ll bring up this concern with our team today and follow up here later today.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey!
I’ve got this information passed along and a user story has been created describing these particular issues here. We’ll be working to address these particular issues in an upcoming release.
I’ll leave this open to see if there is any immediate feedback/comments from our team.

MemberTamara, I’m unsure if this snippet will benefit you:
Make WooCommerce cart Quantity input field non-editable (readonly) ONLY FOR Event Tickets Plus products

If it does, great. If it doesn’t, just disregard.
Thanks!
