Hi there! Thanks for stopping by!

Great question re: follow-up emails on a per-event basis. If you’re using Event Tickets Plus to create and sell tickets for your classes, you can select WooCommerce as your ecommerce platform to power the sales and management portions of ticket handling. Event Tickets Plus takes a very hands-off approach to working with WooCommerce, so WooCommerce plugins and extensions should still work in the way to which you’re accustomed–each ticket will be created as a separate WooCommerce item, and you can employ the Woo plugin of your choice to have unique follow-up emails be sent alongside each ticket order. This might be a solution worth considering if you’d like to have the best of both worlds! 🙂

Another option would be to customize the ticket email template that’s used for each event, depending on what information you’d like to display. This might be an easy option if you’re looking to underscore information that’s already present on the event itself, or if you’d like to add custom fields to your events to pass into a template. Our Themer’s Guide is a great place to get started learning about our template system and making changes to the look and feel of various plugin functions!

I hope that helps to get you going in the right direction! Let me know if you should have any other questions or if there’s anything I can clarify!

in reply to: iCal Importer works fine with Google Calendar ? #1122375

I’m afraid that iCal Importer is sold as a separate add-on to be used with either The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO–it’s not included with the purchase of Events Calendar PRO. That said, if you don’t require any of the added functionality of PRO, iCal Importer works just fine with the free version of The Events Calendar! You can see a feature comparison between The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO on the PRO product page here.

If you anticipate that you’ll be purchasing a number of our paid plugins, you might also want to consider our Importer Bundle, which includes Events Calendar PRO, iCal Importer, Facebook Events, and Filter Bar, all at a discounted price compared to purchasing them separately. It’s a pretty great value and might simplify your purchasing decision a bit!

Let me know if you should have any other questions–I’m happy to help! 🙂 Thanks again!

Hi there! Thanks for getting in touch–happy to hear that you’re considering our plugins for your site! 🙂

We offer two main options for exporting events from Events Calendar PRO: you can export the current month’s events to a static ICS file to import into iCal or another supported application, or you can access an RSS feed of your events at [your-site.com]/events/feed. You can see an example of a generated RSS feed output for our demo site here!

If you’d like to designate certain events as private to be viewed by logged-in users only, you can adjust the event’s visibility setting under Publish > Visibility on the post editor screen, just as you would for any other WordPress post. Click the “Edit” link and select “Private” from the options that appear, click “OK” to confirm your selection, then click the blue “Publish” or “Update” button to commit your changes.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi there!

Thanks for getting in touch! I’m afraid that our Facebook Events add-on largely operates in a one-way capacity; currently there isn’t any way way to automatically mirror events created in The Events Calendar as Facebook events. You can read more about how importing and syncing works with Facebook Events on our Knowledgebase here.

That said, you might consider looking into one of the many third-party social media sharing plugins that are available for WordPress–one of these might be useful if you’d just like to share links to your calendar events that users can click from Facebook!

I hope that helps–let me know if you should have any other questions!

Hi there! Thanks for dropping by and taking a look at our plugins! 🙂

Unfortunately, our licenses above the Personal tier are intended for multiple independent activations and aren’t linked to each other for event syncing or other similar features. However, you might consider taking a look at our iCal Importer add-on–if there are events that you’ll be wanting to keep synced between multiple sites without having to maintain them separately, you can simply create a Google Calendar to house those events and set a recurring import on each site to keep them up-to-date. You can read more about how to set this up here!

I hope that helps! Let me know if you should have any other questions!

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by and for considering our plugins! 🙂

You can find all current stable versions of translations for The Events Calendar here. Many of these translations are not 100% complete, but if you should need to translate any additional text, this Knowledgebase article may be helpful!

This Knowledgebase article offers a code snippet that will help you to move the ticket form.

If you’d like to add a ticket button to the main calendar page, you’ll need to customize the main calendar template. Our Themer’s Guide should help to get your started!

I hope that helps! Let us know if you should have any other questions!

Hi there! Good to see you here–thanks for the kind words! Thrilled you’re enjoying the plugins so far! 🙂

If you’re interested in adding additional fields to collect more info from your ticket buyers, this is functionality that’s offered in Event Tickets Plus through the Attendee Information option. You can read more about Attendee Information and how to create and use these fields on our Knowledgebase here!

We don’t offer direct support for MailChimp integration at this time, but these types of features are available for a number of popular ecommerce platforms, including WooCommerce. If you’re using Event Tickets Plus with WooCommerce for paid ticket sales, you may wish to look into third-party plugin options such as this one. For free tickets, simply create the ticket as a WooCommerce ticket and set the price to be zero.

Lastly, you can read more about our nonprofit partnership program and apply with your nonprofit for consideration here! Our nonprofit licenses differ from typical premium licenses in a number of ways, so please be sure to read our documentation thoroughly before submitting your application.

I hope that helps to answer your questions! Thanks, and let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help!

    Hi there!

Thanks for getting in touch! We don’t currently have support for cancelling RSVPs built into Event Tickets. Unless you’re using Event Tickets Plus with a payment processor for paid tickets (where cancellations/refunds can be processed through an ecommerce platform), attendees will need to reach out to you directly in order to cancel an existing ticket order. I’m sorry to disappoint!

That said, you may wish to look into our Eventbrite Tickets plugin if this is an essential feature for your project–Eventbrite has similar support for RSVPs/free tickets and does support cancelling registrations for users who are unable to attend.

I hope that helps! Thanks, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi again!

I’m sorry to hear you’re still having trouble! Again, we’re not able to provide support for current users here on pre-sales–we’d be happy to help you further if you’d like to make a thread for your issue on our WordPress.org support forum.

I’m going to go ahead and close this thread, as it’s off-topic for pre-sales, but we hope to see you over on WP.org! Thanks again for getting in touch!

    Hi there!

Thanks for getting in touch–and I’m so sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your plugins! I’d love to have someone on our team take a closer look and see what might be happening with your setup. Would you mind logging in with the account you used to purchase Events Calendar PRO and submitting a post to our premium support forum? If you’re unable to access that account, we’d be happy to help with a password reset.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help! 🙂
