    Hi, when someone signs up for a class on my site, they need to receive certain information in the confirmation email that is only specific to that class (class date, paperwork, etc.). Can I do this with Events Plus Pro? I’m using woocommerce and was thinking of using follow-up emails plugin by woo, but if we can have them purchase and get a custom email associated with that event, this would be ideal. Thanks!

    Great question re: follow-up emails on a per-event basis. If you’re using Event Tickets Plus to create and sell tickets for your classes, you can select WooCommerce as your ecommerce platform to power the sales and management portions of ticket handling. Event Tickets Plus takes a very hands-off approach to working with WooCommerce, so WooCommerce plugins and extensions should still work in the way to which you’re accustomed–each ticket will be created as a separate WooCommerce item, and you can employ the Woo plugin of your choice to have unique follow-up emails be sent alongside each ticket order. This might be a solution worth considering if you’d like to have the best of both worlds! 🙂

    Another option would be to customize the ticket email template that’s used for each event, depending on what information you’d like to display. This might be an easy option if you’re looking to underscore information that’s already present on the event itself, or if you’d like to add custom fields to your events to pass into a template. Our Themer’s Guide is a great place to get started learning about our template system and making changes to the look and feel of various plugin functions!

    Once more question… Since I am using woocommerce as my payment gateway, would Event Tickets Plus use my gateway/account if I processed specific event tickets using your template versus Woocommerce cart page? I like that your events ticketing will show if something is sold out. Trying to figure out everything I need to make this work for my client. Thanks!

    Hi again!

    Good question! Event Tickets Plus is built to circumvent the individual WooCommerce product pages for each ticket, so tickets can be sold directly from your event pages. You can tweak this functionality a bit if you prefer, but we do default to our own templates for most intents and purposes! You can read a little more about how this works and how to customize your individual setup, if desired, here.
