Thank you!

MemberHi Mark,
Are you saying the meta box snippet isn’t working, or you’re having trouble using the plugins at all?
Can you confirm that you also have Event Tickets 4.0.1 and Event Tickets Plus 4.0.1 installed as well as the latest version of WooCommerce? Some screenshots or more details on the issues you’re experiencing will help me troubleshoot further.
Best,
Leah

December 11, 2015 at 4:09 pm in reply to: The following plugins are out of date: The Events Calendar: Eventbrite Tickets #1039923Leah
MemberHi Judy,
Thanks for getting in touch and explaining the issue. The most recent version of Eventbrite Tickets is 4.0, which is why you are getting an alert to update your version 3.12.1.
It looks like your Eventbrite Tickets license key was registered to your site at some point in the past, but is no longer properly connected. To correct, that, first go to your license keys page and find your Eventbrite Tickets license. Click the Disconnect Now link next to the site url (as described here). Then head back over to your WordPress site and drop the license key into the field under Events –> Settings –> License Keys. Be sure to save that page so the key validates.
Once the key validates properly, your site will be able to receive updates. You will probably need to go to the WordPress Updates page and click the Check Again button (maybe even a few times), but then an update for the plugin will appear as an option.
If you have any trouble along the way, please take a screenshot and post it here so we can troubleshoot further. Thank you for your support!
Best,
Leah

MemberHi there,
Thanks for your interest in our plugins. Can you tell me which plugins in particular you are asking about? That will help me answer your questions better.
1. when you say add-on you mean to buy several to achieve it? Events Calendar + add-on “Community Events” How much is that?
We have a free core plugin, The Events Calendar, which is the basic calendar plugin. The other plugins are called add-ons because they are used at the same time as the core plugin, and add extra functionality. While The Events Calendar is free, add-ons such as Community Events require a license. You can purchase a single site license for Community Events for $89 (from the product page)
2. Do you have Booking cut-off date, this is the definite date after which bookings will be closed (ex: before the events starts)?
I’m not sure I understand this question. We have a ticketing add-on called Event Ticket Plus which allows visitors to purchase ticket to your events. You can define dates for the start and end of ticket sales.
3. Why does it show the names of other Organizers?
I’m sorry, I don’t understand this question. Events with organizers will automatically display organizer information on the event page.
4. Does it have
Total Spaces: Individual tickets with remaining spaces will not be available if total booking spaces reach this limit? At this time, this global stock feature is not available. However, we are hoping to add it in a future release. You can vote for it in our UserVoice feature request thread. That way you will be notified if and when it becomes available.
5. Maximum Spaces Per Booking?
Can you be more specific? You can set maximum numbers for tickets with Event Tickets Plus.
Thank you,
Leah

MemberHi um1tb,
Thanks for your note. There is not a built in way to remove all old events, but you can have old recurring events automatically removed. Under Events –> Settings –> General there is a setting for Clean up recurring events after:. If you set that number to 2, then recurring events over 2 months old will be removed from the calendar.
It’s also possible that you could use another plugin to clean up the rest of your events. Events are custom post types, so a plugin like Auto Prune Posts might to work for you.
also i keep getting this error message:
The page “Events” uses the “/events” slug: the Events Calendar plugin will show its calendar in place of the page. The Events Calendar automatically generates the events page at yoursite.com/events. Does your website already have a WordPress page called Events with the url slug /events? If so, you can delete that page. You can also change the url path for The Events Calendar under Events –> Settings –> General. Change the slug to something other than the default /events. I believe that either of those solutions will get rid of the error, but let us know if you continue to have trouble!

MemberHi liblogger,
Thanks for your post, and for giving us a full run down of the situation. Can you confirm what version of Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, and WooCommerce you are running? We recently released 4.0.1 for ET and ET+, so you’ll want to update if you haven’t already.
Also, can you check under WooCommerce –> Settings –> Products –> Inventory and make sure you have the Enable Stock Inventory setting checked?
Thank you for your patience and support while we get to the bottom of this issue!

Leah

MemberHi Hans,
Perhaps you forgot to check the notification box? I’m glad you looked at the thread again and saw my reply.
I have added you as a validator for all of our premium plugins, and I will also request that you are approved as an editor for our core plugins.
Thank you!

December 10, 2015 at 4:51 pm in reply to: Do I have to upgrade my existing plugins to add another plugin #1039296Leah
MemberHi wullaski,
Thanks for your note. You can add Facebook Events to your site, although you’d want to make sure to use a compatible version (that is, the 3.9 version of Facebook Events instead of 4.0).
That said, we highly, highly recommend that you keep all your plugins up to date. If you use old versions, we cannot provide any support. Additionally, you are likely to run into problems as WordPress itself changes. We make sure to keep our latest releases up to date with the latest version of WordPress, but if you’re running an old version of our products then there’s no guarantee of compatibility.
If you want to renew your Community Events license, it will cost you $62. You can renew it from your account’s license keys page. The Facebook Events plugin Personal level license is $49, and you can purchase that from the product page.

MemberHi Mark,
We have a snippet that will help you do this with Event Tickets Plus, as long as you are using it with WooCommerce. The snippet is here. If you are not using WooCommerce as your ecommerce provider, let us know and we’ll see what we can do 🙂

MemberHi Marcel,
Thanks for posting! That tutorial was removed as there was some confusion over whether or not it was still relevant in 4.0. Thanks to you, the mistake was found and fixed! You can find the tutorial at that same url.
Cheers,
Leah
