MemberHi dexlinx,
Thanks for confirming- I was able to test with a similar situation. However, I couldn’t recreate what you’re seeing. The next step is to look for a conflict caused by another plugin. Can you please deactivate all plugins except The Events Calendar and Filter Bar, and see if the issue persists?
Thank you,
Leah

MemberHi cnh,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’m glad you like the plugin š
The look of the calendar is largely controlled by your theme. You might try the different Stylesheets available under Events –> Settings –> Display. Full Styles might work better for you.
If you’d like to do more, you should probably chat with your developer. We have a number of resources to help them change the look of the calendar. You’ll want to check out our tutorials page, documentation, and Themer’s Guide.
If you need help, you can always post another thread here and we’ll do our best to assist you.
Cheers,
Leah

MemberHi mending,
Thanks for the link. We are working with Andy on a few things. I have commented on that thread to make sure that he’s communicated this issue to us so we can get it ticketed in our system. I’m going to close up this thread, but you can see further progress in that .org forum thread.

MemberHi Shelly,
Thanks for getting in touch, and for your interest in our plugins!
I right in seeing that I need to purchase both the EC Pro AND the Community Events plugin? If so, how well integrated are these two plugins?
Yes, Events Calendar PRO and Community Events are separate plugins. ECP gives you the Venue and Organizer pages, while Community Events gives you the front-end submission feature. The two plugins are very well integrated. All of our add-ons are organized together under the Events header in your WordPress Admin, and the settings are all under Events –> Settings.
Also, do either of these products come with an āorganizersā or āgroupā listing/database? For instance, a certain group has multiple events at different venues, can users access that group info somewhere fairly easily, and see a list of their events?
I wouldn’t quite call it a database, but I think the Organizer and Venues pages will work for you. All instances of a venue name are linked to a page showing that venue’s name, address, and upcoming events. You can also add a map, and (depending on the theme) a description with or without pictures. It’s the same sort of thing for Organizers. You can also link directly to those pages. Would that work for you?

MemberHi dexlinx,
Thanks for your post, and for including those detailed instructions to reproduce. I was able to see the behavior on your site. Normally I’d also want to look for that behavior on my own site to confirm. But it looks like you have done some custom work on the filters to make that Location filter. Can you give us some more information on your customizations? We can’t always help with complex custom work like this, but we may be able to help pinpoint the problem.

MemberHi begulliver,
I’m very glad to hear that the Category filter is working nicely for you. We will work on the Cost Filter issue and I will be sure to update this thread when we have a fix for it. Thank you for your patience in the meantime!

MemberHi Vasiliy,
Thank you for volunteering to translate our plugins into Russian. However, I already have someone working on it (in this thread). I may need an update in a few more months, but I for now I think we have the Russian translation taken care of. But thank you so much for getting in touch!

MemberHi angelakienholz,
Thanks for getting in touch. Our main product is called The Events Calendar, and you also have two of our premium add-ons (Events Calendar PRO and Community Events). Events Manager is actually one of our competitor’s products. I can imagine that if you have both installed on your site it is rather confusing!
I recommend that you deactivate Event Manager so that you can have a clearer view of the plugins you purchased from us. You might also check out our New User Primer, which includes walk throughs to help you get acquainted with our product. We also have a Primer for Community Events.
If you have any specific questions or run into any problems, just post here and we’d be happy to help out.

MemberHi Mike,
Thanks for posting. I’m not specifically familiar with WooCommerce Product Vendors. Our WooCommerce Tickets plugin shouldn’t interfere with another WooCommerce product, but we can’t always guarantee that it will integrate smoothly. I’m going to get in touch with the folks at Woo and see if I can get a copy and run some tests.
To verify, are your product vendors going to be submitting events from the frontend of the site? Or are they just making tickets from the backend, with a user account? WooCommerce Tickets isn’t really designed to work from the frontend, so I’d be hesitant about suggesting that.

MemberHi dnelsonuf,
Thanks for posting. To clarify, are you looking to list all the events from one category together? Or only a few events? If it’s the former, you can link straight to a page showing events in that category atĀ /events/category/category-slug/. This FAQ might also help you out. Let me know if that answers your question, or if I can answer any others.

MemberHi mending,
I’m sorry, but I really can’t make any promises. I suspect that that feature will be added within the year, but we simply can’t guarantee when new features will come out.

MemberHi begulliver,
I apologize for the gap in communication here. I checked out your website and the categories you mentioned seem to be working correctly- are you seeing and proper behavior as well?
I appreciate you reporting the issues with the Cost Filter- we had a few other reports as well, so I did some testing and discovered that there are some problems with it. We’ll work to get these fixed as soon as possible, but you might consider removing the Cost Filter for now. I’m very sorry for this inconvenience. Thank you for reporting the problem, and for your patience while we fix it! I’ll update here when I have more information on our progress.

MemberHi athyg,
I wish I could recommend something, but I’m not familiar with a plugin that does notifications like this. You might try searching through our PRO Forum and see if someone else mentions one. Good luck!
