MemberThanks Torstein!
Jeff, if this is indeed the same thing that happens to you (as Torstein described in the other post), please let me know. Especially if you have made modifications to the files that would help to know.Joyce Grace
MemberHi Tony,
We don’t have that list up because in a sense, we might be associating ourselves with companies that could, in theory, make some people unhappy with their service, or be unavailable, or change the way they service clients over time… so it’s a hard type of list to keep updated. You know what I would suggest though? If you go through the showcase thread and see a calendar you like, you can contact the site owner and ask who did it for them, or if they did it, and perhaps they can help you. Here is the link: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/showcase-2-0/
However I think that the Events Calendar is simple enough, and has enough documentation, that anyone who is familiar with WordPress and coding should be able to help you out with it.
Hope this helps!

MemberHi Tony, I am going to ask about this, it makes sense, sort of, but on the other hand, I wonder if there is a way to fix it.

MemberHi Bob, I think I gave you the link to answer your question in your other post: https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-add-events-to-your-rss-feed/ Let me know if this is not what you are looking for.

MemberHello Christian,
Are you using our free plugin or the PRO version? This will help me answer a lot of your questions. Some of what you are describing is in the PRO version. We have a Themer’s Guide to the events calendar that might help you out as well: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/ – this is a reference you would need to use if you want to customize the calendar.

MemberHi Bob,
Yeah, it sounds like you’re going to need to do some custom programming to accomplish what you’re looking for. But on that note, it’s a good idea, and if you do get the Pro version, I would recommend you add this to the feature request forum.
I didn’t know we had the short-code {calendar} – are you sure it’s our plugin? Someone told me sometimes people can have another plugin or be using shortcodes from another calendar plugin that makes it work that way.
About the RSS, did you try this tutorial already? https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-add-events-to-your-rss-feed/
If it still doesn’t work, I would recommend posting this question to the plugin forum on wordpress.org http://wordpress.org/tags/the-events-calendar?forum_id=10 and someone will be able to help you with it there, and our devs can look if necessary too.
I hope this helps!

MemberHi Vulgarbulgar,
As far as I know there aren’t any immediate plans to make the calendar responsive as an out-of-the-box plugin. However, you can always set this up in your CSS on your own by customizing the calendar.
I will check to see if the developers of this plugin do have future plans to make it responsive.
Joyce Grace
MemberHello Vulgarbulgar, we have discussed this idea, but for the time being it looks like if that does happen, it won’t be for a while. You can however customize the calendar using our Themer’s Guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/
We also do have an Advanced widget that displays the calendar, and we have a tutorial on how to customize the widget: https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-completely-customize-widgets/
We also use templates, and you can use your theme’s default template, our template, or a template you’ve created.
I hope this helps! If you have a specific thing you’re trying to accomplish maybe I can better answer your question, or help direct you at least.
Thanks!

MemberHello Bart, we try to release new versions at the beginning of every month, so when it comes out, try to update and see if it gets fixed. I know it’s frustrating, sorry! I just can’t make any promises about future features and availability 🙁
Joyce Grace
MemberHello Grant, thanks for pointing this out. It’s interesting you mention it because we recently had some usability tests done. We have a feature request forum here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/community-events-feature-requests/ in case you’d like to add it.
I will also look in to seeing if this can be brought to the attention of our developers.
Thanks!

MemberHi Sean! I’m glad you got this all figured out! It is good to know in case other users have the same issue 🙂
Joyce Grace
MemberHello Lauren, can you confirm you are using the latest version of all our plugins and add-ons?
What part of the recurring event are you editing?
Also, is it that it is disappearing, or do you think it is moving to the end of the list? Have you tried sorting the events by date, ascending and descending to see if you can find it that way? Two years can produce a really long list of events, so I’m just making sure.
Joyce Grace
MemberHi Tony, this is just my two cents, I’m not sure what it could be, but did you set up your time zone and display date in the WordPress General Settings? That might help.
Did you also rule out that it could be other plugins conflicting? Did you try deactivating all of them and reactivating one by one to see if any certain one changes it?
Joyce Grace
MemberHi Tony! Glad you got this solved 🙂 It happens to the best of us 🙂

MemberThank you Andy! I will bring this to the attention of our developers.
