MemberHello Larry, this sounds like a CSS issue. Can you please link to your site for us? It would be next to impossible for us to help without seeing the live site.
Also, can you confirm you are on the latest version of WordPress, using the latest version of our plugins and add-ons?
Does this happen on the default 2011 Theme at its latest version?

MemberHello Scott, can you try to resave your permalinks, and change the permalinks to “postname” to see if that helps?

MemberHello David, if switching to the default theme with all the plugins activated as per usual, you should definitely ask the theme creator about this. There could be something they’ve installed in the theme that was supposed to do something for another area that is conflicting. It shouldn’t – but some themes do have these problems.

MemberHello Mary, everything looks aligned to me, and nothing seems like it is overlapping: http://d.pr/i/xvbg – has this been resolved already?

MemberHello Jane, we can’t guarantee when, but as you can read above, this has been something we’ve been meaning to get to for a while. Since we only have so many man hours, we need to address the most important issues regarding our plugin improvements first. Let’s hope for August!

MemberHello Dave,
We have an importer but it is still in beta so no guarantees it will work beautifully. You can request a copy of it for trial though, by e-mailing pro /at/ tri.beAbout showing the same calendar on different web sites, technically there can be many ways to do this, but it is outside the scope of our support. I guess you could use an iframe, but I think you’d need to consult with a developer on how to find the solution that best works for you.
Hope this helps!

MemberHello Mrjarbenne, can you email us at pro /at/ tri.be regarding this? I’m not sure how this will work in your case because we will need proof of non-profit status, but anyway, do try to request it by e-mailing and we will see what we can do.

MemberHello Mike right now this isn’t possible, but you should be able to do it with the Eventbrite add-on. The Facebook add-on is almost brand new so it is still in infant stages. It’s a good idea though!

MemberHello Mike,
For this you may need to do some custom coding to customize the calendar. You will need to check out our Themer’s guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/We do have a tutorial on colouring categories, which may be along the lines of what you want to accomplish, but of course you will need to take it a step further with images: https://theeventscalendar.com/coloring-your-category-events/

MemberHello Toddz,
As far as I now role-based plugins and such should work with community events.
Our technical documentation is here for your reference: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation
Also, not really sure if this helpful to you (maybe not), but since you mentioned “templates” here is a little tutorial on how to over ride templates: https://theeventscalendar.com/what-are-template-overrides-and-how-do-i-do-them/
I hope this helps!

MemberHello all,
The thing to know about the plugin is that it uses custom post types. So basically, each calendar event is technically a WordPress post. Searching for events would work the same way as searching so-called ‘regular’ blog posts. If the postal code is in the post (i.e. the event description), then it should show up in search results.A WordPress guru named Joost de Valk really doesn’t like the inherent WordPress search function and writes about other solutions. Here is one: http://yoast.com/wordpress-search/
If you want an events map to be searchable, well, that’s a custom coding project and needs to work with the Google API.
Regarding mobile, I’m assuming you’re asking if the Events Calendar is responsive? It’s not bad, though as far as I know there aren’t any immediate plans to make the calendar responsive as an out-of-the-box plugin. However, you can always set this up in your CSS on your own by customizing the calendar. As long as you follow the responsive rules of CSS design, you should be ok. You will of course want to start with a responsive theme. It’s hard to make anything 100% responsive, but I’ve heard that Brandon at Epic Era’s (http://themeforest.net/user/epicera/portfolio) has good themes. While not always 100%, those themes are responsive and the plugin tends to work pretty well straight out of the box with them.
Hope all this helps!

MemberHello all, although this feature is not inherent in the calendar (but is a very popular request, so it may be included in the next big release, but we don’t know when), we do have some options that can help:
If you visit our tutorials page, look under “Queries, Categories, Tags & Event Loops” and you will see some tutorials on how to display categories creatively: https://theeventscalendar.com/the-events-calendar-for-wordpress-tutorials/
We also have an advanced widget that can display upcoming events from only one category. You could use this and keep adding the widget to the sidebar for different categories, though I know this is not a very finesse solution.
Another thing you could do is use WordPress custom menus to create a sidebar menu leading to the different categories of events.
Hope this helps!

MemberHello Danielle, you would move the plugin and add-ons the exact same way you would be moving all your other files, including your other plugins. Some hosts will do this as a service for you. You simply need to migrate the plugin folder and the database tables.

MemberHello Steven, you would need to take a look at our documentation page and have this custom coded, since it is not an inherent function in the calendar: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation We also have a Themer’s guide that might help somewhat: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/
I hope this helps!

MemberHello Adam, you can probably do custom development to get this to work. We have a documentation page here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation We also have a themer’s guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/
This should give you what you need to get this done.
We do have additional fields you can enter as well, but you’d have to enter the speaker name every time, and I don’t think it would be able to have a “view” feature where it creates a separate page for it.
