Misaligned Date selector on calendar

Hi, First thanks for a really great plug in! Just upgraded to pro and eventbrite add-ons great solution for scheduling tours.
However the calendar page is misaligned on my wp theme (modernize) as you can see here: http://readthecity.com/walks/
The date selector overlaps the title Calendar of Events.
How can I realign?

Hi Joyce, I figured out the alignment solution. however now I’m working to correct the calendar which isn’t showing up at all since today 8/1. http://readthecity.com/walks/
Right now I’m looking for a solution in past threads.

Revised the first change, taking the default back to Events. The calendar shows up, but has the alignment issue again

Hey Mary. Thanks for the follow-up here; Joyce is out until tomorrow so I wanted to do what I could to help get this resolved for you. Right off the bat: is the discussion going on in this thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/conflict-with-theme/) of value to you? If I understand the issue correctly it should point you in the right direction, but let me know if I’m wrong there and I’ll adjust my response as needed.
